Propafenone Hydrochloride side effects

Since taking Propafenone for atrial fibrillation, I've been having horrendous headaches during sex. Two heart doctors and my regular physician say there's no correlation between the two. I've had MRI, MRA, and CT, none of which showed irregularities. Anyone else had this reaction? I'm male.

constipated! Crabby/irritable, and still had some pain. I felt very moody. didnt think it did much for my pain, but I could always tell when the medicine wore off, so it must have done something good.

I normally avoid taking drugs at all cost, but after my car got rear-ended I decided I HAD to take my meds. They gave me Propoxy, I don't know if it cause my low tolerance to drugs, and I had a feeling like I was on the ocean and everything I looked at was waving, and I would randomly laugh. Also made my mouth extremely dry.

The drug Propoxy has kept me from getting an erection and my balls feel like someone has stabbed them

when I took it after a while I had a hard time beathing but did releve my shoulder pain.

i hadn't noticed any bad sideaffects. i got propoxy for my wisdom teeth being taken out and i took it with tylenol. i was told it was a weaker form of oxycontin. it relaxed me but the place where my teeth were still kind of hurts.

After taking one I started to get whoozy and had a sick feeling in my stomach. I didn't go to sleep right away and when I did wake up this morning I still felt sick to my stomach.

I TOOK THIS FUCKED UP SHIT PILL, I WAS PULLING SHEETS OUT OF MY ASS, GETTING HEAD FROM MY GRANDMA, AND SCRAPING MY BROWNEYE

perscribed for teeth aching, nerves under teeth hurting, tooth pain, the first time i took it it seemed to help a lil bit maybe for an hour, the second time, it didn't help, the pain increased, i was taking it with penicillin too, which was making me have nausea so i was stuck with nausea and mouth pain!!! I told the dr it didn't help the pain and he perscribed something else, hydrocodone, which is now helping!!

ive searched for this side effect all over the internet without success, because when i was prescribed propoxy after out-patient surgery..it was fine for the first week and dulled the pain considerabley...but after about 2 weeks of use there was blood in my urine and stool and my eyes and nose would drip blood every now and then...it still has gone un-explained, and my docter wont call me back .. i cant get a hold of my medical records at all either...this is becoming a serious issue and some one needs to explain to me why im bleeding from numerous cavities in my body...i still bleed even though i have stopped taking propoxy for a month now...im starting to get scared because no docters will take my story seriously...
if anyone has side-effects close to mine post a messedge so we can stop being neglected by docters!!

Propoxy / Darvocet is a very mild pain reliever. I have taken both Propoxy and Vicodin and would have to say that Vicoding worked much better for relieving pain. If you have serious pain Darvocet is not going to begin to give you relief. Actually in my experience Darvocet never even touched my pain, but it also had no side effects for me. I honestly felt like tylenol would have done a better job at relieving the pain though.

My husband was on this Propoxy and he said that it didnt do anything to him.. He thought that it was a fake pill that the pharm had givin him...

Irrational,addictive,constipated

i had a pacemaker put in and it sure has helped me.i took one a day at night to help me relax and go to sleep. i need to know is it ok to get another mounths supply to take like that because im still a litle sore

I took two of them with dinner and my pain went away within an hour. I did feel a bit dizzy, tired and run down, but that is the way i feel most evenings. I give a thumbs up!

i took this right before an Narcotics annoymous meeting which is kind of ironic. i was okay but then started realizing everything was quite slow and i felt kind of high

I took this medication after outpatient surgery before going to bed and could not get to sleep. By 3:00 A.M. I was dizzy, almost fainted, panting, and had extreme hot feeling under my skin which started in my arms. Thank God I was staying at my daughters and was able to wake her up for help.

She put ice cold tea towel on back of my neck got me to take deep breaths, and put my head between my legs. Within few minutes I began to stablized but was and am still screwed up from it after 6 days.

I also suffered constipation for 4 days after taking it.

I'd be very leary of this drug.

I'm currently on blood pressure and thyroid medication so I don't know if there was some type of interaction with them or what. Very unpleasant. It through me into horrible panic attack.

Can This Drug be Addictive?

Most important, the propoxy took away all the migraine pain. However, I also had ringing in my ears and a heaviness in my thighs when I walked. Not pleasant. I think I'll try to get by for now with Extra Strength Tylenol.

It started with a kind of body numbness (which was alright since it dulled the pain), then dizzyness, then I would cry for no reason just for a few seconds and be fine again, then giggle. I also noticed myself starring off into no where. It did do its job though, and my side effects weren't as bad as the initial pain.

I experienced a small aount of itchiness on my body, but concentrated mostly in my face and nose. The itching was distracting enough for me to not notice being in pain, but was not very effective otherwise. Also, noticed a slight ringing in my ears and restlessness. Dosages do not last 6 hours as prescribed. Discuss your dosages immediately with your physician if you feel you are not being treated properly. For those having migraines, the narcotic should be helping, not hurting. You should probably be on another medication if you are experiencing poor side effects and you run the risk of addiction if you continue to take the medication without it helping you.

I am a 60 year old male with lung cancer but in other wise good shape. I was given Propoxy 100s for extream pain in my left sholder and muscles in lower right back. I took the pills every 4 hours as directed from 8am on the first day and by evening had some mild light headed feeling and very slight bluring of vision. On the second day I started at 8am with no problem and took another pill at 12 noon and apx. one half hour later went to mow the lawn. While mowing on a cool day I started to sweat profusely, very dry mouth and became mildly nausious with some light headedness. This cleared up slowly in about 5 hours. There was no sign of blood pressure or heart problem.

I want to know if taking Propoxy can it cause depression. I have been taking it for a knee injury and since I have been taking it I have been so depressed, I wanted know if anyone else has ever felt this way after taking this medication.

wat should this drug not be taken with, like medicance that are ether o/c or not o/c (like tylonal cold, or and antacid) please send me an e-mail if you know of any conflicting medicance and wat thell do. thanks

Extreme dizziness to the point of inability to walk...almost fainted. I have NEVER experienced that with any other pain reliever, including percocet!

These things are weak...Hydrocodone are much better....

my mother is taking this..............does it cause constitpation ?

Was prescribed propoxy for "frozen shoulder." It doesn't even begin to alleviate the pain. Three hours after trying it again this morning I experienced extreme fatigue while driving. Had to pull over and close my eyes for a few minutes.

it does get rid of the pain. upto 90-95%.

My mother was prescribed this drug for the pain associated with Shinges. The doctor prescribed 1 to 2 tablets every four hours. My mother is 89 years old and was in much pain. Shortyly after taking this medication she began hallucinating seeing building, flowers on the wall and people in her room. I was never able to tell if she was dreaming in her sleep or just high on the drug itself. But when fully awake she was confused about almost everything. She got her Doctors mixed up, her heart medication and other drugs were either not taken or taken too often, and her ability to do such things as operate the tv remote or the wireless telephone was so confusing she couldn't use them. Beware of this drug for the elderly, especially if they live alone. It did help with the pain but she now says she would rather have the pain than what the drug Propoxy did to her senses for almost two weeks. Oh, she even cut the dosage to a half pill every four hours but the results I just described were the same. It took her a long time to get back to normal. She is now taking acylovir for the shingles and seems much better.

Almost fainted. Blood pressure 76/42 and heart rate 46 approximately two hours after taking propoxyphene. Felt shaky and unstable for another eight hours.

I was given it after having a deep boil cut out of my leg. I'm more prone to getting nauseous -- I get sick in the car as a passenger all the time now. Aside from that, no issues, and its done a great job at minimizing the pain I've been experiencing.

Well i was given propoxy after having my molars cut out. Personally i like them. i'm feeling no pain once so ever. Im not dizzy or constipated. You have to eat before you take them otherwise you may get sick. But i eat take them and have no pain.

I hear people sell this stuff but after eading this it sounds kinda scary to take this shit. My mom was pricribed it and now that I read this I'm totally freaked out. I hear they go for 2 bucks a piece.

People say that the dizziness is cool and shit and feeling stoned with out smoking. I thought it wasn't a good idea but I haven't seen anyone have any problems. Are these side effects from people because of long term or just accasional dosage.

My Dr. prescribed Propoxy/Divarcet for my back pain. I have herniated disks. I took a few Propoxy and got no relief, then I observed a friend who was taking Propoxy and saw how really spaced out she looked and acted. She also suffers from back pain. We are "older" people, how can a doctor prescribe something that he well knows is going to diminish
ones's mental abilities ?? Better to suffer discomfort than end up mentally diminished.

I was prescibed propoxy after a surgery and I have found that I get a headache at the end of the 4 hours when it's time to take another one. Also I have a rash on my upper thieghs and on my lower stomach and I feel like I want to itch everywhere.

it made my penis 5inches longer before i had a two and a half penis so its quite a difference thank you propoxy :)

i was taking this because i had my tonsils removed and it didin't really do much for me but i did have very bad ringing in my ears and bad stomach pains

Yea I got soo messed up on these. I got them for my migrains and i took some like 3 ithink and i don't remember much expect I was talking to trees and i kept trying to reach for a glass of kool-aid that wasnt there. and kept opening all sorts of doors and hitting my head on the email me and tell what is going on plz post this i want to see if any other people can relate to it.

i popped 2 of these before the bell rang at my school then by 2nd period i was quite stoned then at 5th period popped a half of something else (forgot what its called) and i was stoned like hell. i wasnt able to get any more propoxy after that but the following night my stomach was hurting briefly. the pains are gone now though.

Severe stomach ache and some nausea

after 3 days I am now experiencing rash on my left leg. Behind the knee on glutious muscle and on my stomach. These areas have turned red, sore and blistered. Has anyone else experienced this?

I was prescribed this for an injury to my finger. shortly after taking the first pill, i felt much relief from the pain. after about 2 hours though it wore off and i felt pain again. i took another pill and it really didnt do anything for the pain. i waited another 3 hours and took one more before going to bed now i feel knda "out of it" but my damn finger still hurts.

i was trippin balls, i felt so stoned after consuming four of those disgusting pills, i was so dizzy, i saw elephants heartss moons and stars, it was not good, scary stuff... then i quit and had mad panic attacks i need more
