Pseudovent side effects

Since I have taken this medicine I have had elevated blood pressure, dizziness after extended periods of strenuous activity, and a continual groggy detached feeling. I am a young man and have never had any health problems and until I started reading some of the stories about others on this drug I believed there was a major health problem. I have also had trouble sleeping and resting when i do sleep which leads to irritation and the groggy, hazy feeling that I have.

I've been taking this stuff for 8 days now. My maxillofacial surgeon is making me take it for a sinus pocket after a wisdom tooth extraction. I didn't sleep for three days straight and had horrible anxiety. I was allergic to my pain meds and couldn't take them so had no other medication that this could be caused by. My heart has been racing, and the first few hours after I take it, it is difficult to breathe. I've been ridiculously irritable, and on the fifth night I had thoughts of suicide because of the anxiety. I am groggy, have trouble reading and focusing my vision, and am very dizzy. The surgeon just told me to stay on it and toughen up. I can't concentrate, I can't drive, I feel like I can't function. I am miserable.

I'm with the rest of you on the "up all night thing". I'm going on night 2 of not sleeping. Although, I should mention, the medication started working within about 12 hours. But I think I might die from lack of sleep now!

I took Pseudovent for decongestion and 400mg of Motrin for sore throat. I was litterally up all night, and I was very nervous, and I had to continue to towel dry the sweat of my body throughout the night.

I have been taking medication for 1 week. My congestion went away the first day. But on the second day I woke up with a disgusting bad taste in my mouth, that will not go away. As of today I have stop taking the medication. However it did work very well as a diet pill. I lost all desire to eat.

Sleeplessness. I was up an entire night after taking Pseudovent!

i do not feel better after two days, i feel worse and i have not experienced the side effects yet.

Racing heart, broke out all over with large and small bumps. The bumps were itchy, and hurt to touch. I felt like I had a sun burn all over. It hurt to walk

I should take 1 capsule twice a day. The next day my head was clear, but I didnt sleep for two nights. Pharmacy told me to only take 1 a day. I sleep better now, but still my heart is pounding, I have red cheeks, nervous. Stupid feeling.

I just took one because my doc said that i have a virus that is going around. I wasted my money because i am not going to take again. I would rather drink some tea or do a steam treatment to relieve congestion than deal with the side affects. I have only had one and i am very nervous, It is almost 3:30 a.m. right now and I cant sleep, that is why i am writing this, i cant sleep. I feel like getting mad at my doc or someone but that wouldnt help anything. I just hope this crap leaves my body FAST!!! Feels like poison in my body. Should have asked the doc for a homeopathic alternative. My bad.

This medication seems to be a great decongestant. However, for the past week, I have been in a fog and my vision has been wacked. It's as if my eyeballs are floating independent from each other in my head. Some days are worse than others. It is only fair to note that after the first couple of days of taking it, I quit taking it because of the reaction. Then, after seeing my doctor again, I went back to it, which has probably started the whole process all over. It's not unbearable but, something to be aware of. I am getting relief from my congestion.

after taking this drug for a few days i have begun to feel disconnected, groggy, sedated, anxious and nervous and some days i feel a slight tingling in my lower back

HAVE BEEN TAKINGFOR TWO DAYS AND FEEL MORE CONGESTED THEN WHEN I WENT TO THE DOCTOR.

When I sneeze activating contractions of skeletal muscles in the posterior lumbar region and deltoids would cause sharp sensations of pain and resluting sorness.
