My 22 month old was born premature and from the time he was born he was given Reglan. While hospitalized at the age of 3 months they tripled his dosage. After many violent apneas as well as him being very rigid, it was determined that he was allergic to this drug. This was after 6 months of taking this drug. He is now almost 2 years old and does not walk and he is unable to sit up by himself. He's just now starting to crawl but he is very stiff. He has problems w/his vision and has problems w/bowel movements. All these problems manifested themselves after his dosage was tripled. We have no proof that Reglan is responsible for all this but it just seems a like too much of a coincidence.

I was given REGLAN in the ER because I had problems with something "stuck" in my stomach. I had a severe dystonic reaction...the scariest thing i've ever gone through. I was given benadryl later after I returned to the ER. The side effects reversed, but now it is January (4 months later) and I am stiff, achy, and sore and it never goes away. Please I am begging do NOT keep that drug on the market. I don't think I will ever be the same.
