I've had Fibromyalgia for a long time. The #1 thing, is to have a positive attitude. Get info. about this disease. Get moving. Start out slowly. Do what you are able to do, nothing more and nothing less. I know its hard to keep moving. But if u dont, ur stuck with no life. I've been down this road too. Get some physical therapy. I have found, for me, that pool therapy is the best. I dont have as much gravity to deal with in a swimming pool. The water seems to hold u up. Get involved in som...

by rose81, 2 replies, updated about 14 hours ago.I was given the fantastic news that my body doesn't like itself anymore. I don't know when it had a falling out, but all I can say is the course of action to remedy this disease is CRAZY. Taking meds that have more side effects and the restrictions on my daily life, because of the meds, no driving, no salt, no sugar, and little fat in my diet, very little sun. Bathing in skin moisturizer, moodiness, mental confusion, can't work, but expected to continue cooking for family, and cleaning. Which I guess ...

He has slured speech, incoherent, unsteady on his feet & drops off to sleep in the blink of an eye. Could it be something other that drink related? or is he just pretending to himself he's ok?

I was given Reglan at the hospital via IV for flu-like symptoms, even though I didnt not mention having nausea - just a lack of appetite and indigestion. My doctor did not discuss it with me or ask me if I wanted it, she just sent a nurse in with an IV. I was told she was giving it to me because my heart rate was up and I was dehydrated.
The Reglan made me feel a lot better, I left the hospital feeling like I could actually walk again, even though I was still experiencing serious chills. Went home and was basically asleep off and on for hours but feeling fine. Then this morning I woke up with nausea, dizziness, tiredness and headache - symptoms I didnt have before taking the Reglan. I told the pharmacist about this and asked if I should have the prescription filled. He told me that the Reglan was to help me with those feelings and I was just having them because now that I didnt have the medication the symptoms were back. I'm not buying that, though. I think its a side effect of the Reglan and so I looked up this site. I'm glad I did. I now know I definitely should not go pick up that prescription.
