Risperdal and cogentin

My son is 10 years old, has been on Risperdal for about 3 months. He's formed severe eye ticks, squinting, batting, and scrunching up his forehead. Has anyone else experienced this? We took him the meds immediately and put him on Cogentin. We pray that it works....

my side effects were eye twitching,so my dr lowered the dosage,and gave me cogentin. it worked great. but by lowering the dosage, my anger came back just a little,my mood swings too. so i apt to go back to the higher strenght,rather than to put my kids thru hell, and i take the cogenting when needed. what people don't realize is that u have to give medicine time to get in your system and work, and then some of the side effects disappear. i love it. it is the best thing that has ever happened to me, and to my kids.

My doctor apparently forgot the side effect medicine called cogentin. By the fourth day, I was fully paralyzed. The cogentin newly prescribed has released me from not being able to move however, I will never use the medication again.
