I agree that sometimes it's my son's friends he's been around ,that his attitude is, he knows everything .I am wrong and he is right, he's been on Singulair for about two years and the attitude has just come on the past few months along with nosebleeds. It does work for his asthma but I am going to ask his doctor for something else.

My daughter is 5 years old and has been on singulair for 1 week. i have already noticed a dramatic change in her behavior. she has become irritable, mean, nasty, and emotional. she has had me in tears on a daily basis. she has turned into a monster. we will be calling the doctor in the morning!

I started taking Singulair 2 years ago because I had trouble breathing when I lay flat down to sleep at night. My doctor thinks it may be asthmatic allergy symptoms, but he can't explain why it's only when I lay down. Anyways, I had never had a nosebleed in my life until I started taking it, and now I get them almost every other day. Sometimes as soon as I wake up and roll over in the morning blood will pour out of my nose. Many a pillow case has been ruined because of this. I never had nasal allergy problems, but since Singulair clears the nasal passages too, it is making my nose way too dry and causing bad nosebleeds.

I was taking singulair last fall for seasonal allergies but then came down with a terrible cold and stopped for the winter while trying to recover from several different illnesses. I started taking Singulair again in early April for seasonal allergies and have experienced daily nosebleeds after taking it about a week. Anybody else have nosebleeds? Did it stop when you stopped the meds? I'm thinking of trying Zyrtec(sp?) instead. Any thoughts?

My son and daughter have both been on singulair for about 1yr. She recently started having nosebleeds. They are not brought on by sneezing, coughing, or trauma. Anyone else heard of this?
