I was not happy when I was prescribed the Sulfameth. I get sinus infections often, and am usually prescribed Amoxil, but I had a different doctor. The first three days I didn't notice anything, not even a change in my symptoms. The third day I woke up with pain in my left wrist. As the day progressed my right wrist started hurting too. Neither pains did I attribute to the Sulfameth. That night I couldn't get cool, but the weather was very warm, I just it was the weather. The fourth day I had body aches all over and my sinus infection felt worse, my glands were swollen, and I had a fever over 101 degrees. (I never have fever.) This is the fifth day, I can barely walk across my apartment without breaking a sweat, my hands feel like every bone in them is broken. I decided to look up the side effects after a phone call to my pharmacist didn't give me any answers. It is so good to find out I am not alone.
