My best-friend room-mate is downstairs now sleeping. He was perscribed this for an absess/possible staff infection, and have been having violent seizure like anxiety attacks. Two ER visits and still they don't know what it is. He shakes violently, and the only thing that will stop these attacks in xanax. I am positive these affects are being caused by this anti-biotic.

I've been taking Sulfameth/Trimeth DS 800/160 for about 9 days for a kidney infection. For the past 3 days my throat has been bothering me. It feels like I have tonsilitis (which I get a lot), but I don't see how I could since this is an anti-biotic. My throat is burning it feels swollen, dry, scratchy and my voice has been going out. My jaws are getting sore too, like I've been clenching them or something.
