I was prescribed Sulfameth\Trimethoprim for a UTI on Thursday Nov.11, 05, and the 3 days I have taken this medicine, I have felt like Hell. I have nausea,unable to sleep, constanly going to the restroom,shakiness,restness,headaches and most of all, I can not have a regular bowel movement even though I have the urge to have one. Most of these are the symptons that I have when I went to the emergency room. I think that I am going to go and see my regular doctor and stop taking this medicine.

My nine year old son was diagnosed with a Urinary Tract Infection and has had 5 dosages of sulfameth/trimethoprim. Tonight (currently 2:15am) we are up with him going to the restroom about every 15 minutes and he is hallucinating.
