My 14 year old daughter starting taking this 3 days ago for a sinus infection. She now has extreme fatigue, she's very nauseous, has restlessnes, nightmares, stomach pain, tingling hands and she was afraid to go to bed tonight because she feels so bad. She says she's never felt like this in her life. I took her off this med and am hoping she gets it out of her system soon. I told the Dr. that my daughter is very sensitive to medication and then she gave me THIS?

Took 4 tablets and am experiencing sleeplessness, rash on stomach and ribcage, itching, dry mouth and eyes, stomach pain and nausea. Taking for a bladder infection. Am calling Dr. in a.m. and not taking any more pills.

I've been taking med for 5 days and have severe nausea, vaginal itching, stomach pain, general weakness, loss of appetite - oh yeah, i threw up once too.

stomach pain, back pain
Last night woke up with a terrible headache towards the back
of my head and neck. Scary because I don't get headaches.
Fever-felt back of neck and it was very hot. My lower back hurts sometimes.

Red rash on arms, legs, stomach, and back that is so itchy that I can not sleep, stomach pain. I here that this pill can cause yeast infections so ask for diflucan when you start taking sulfameth to avoid getting a yeast infection.

I have had a horrible reaction to Sulfameth. At first, it was effective in treating my acne, but on the 5th day, I began to get severe headaches, stomach pain (which I now realize was the pain caused by water retention), and a rash began to develop. I lowered to dose to 800 mg/day at the suggestion of my dermatologist, and now the rash covers my body and my face is bright red and itches like crazy (I want to reach for some sandpaper). I don't know why this drug is on the market, because I have heard from friends people often react to Sulfameth and similar drugs.
