I am looking for a reason I have coughing spells. The itching of my arm just won't go away...I took for granted it was a "bite" but after reading here about the side effects of other people I realize that the Toprol may be causing my annoyances. My doctor insists that I take it. I did cut back for a while to 1/2 the small oval pill and did okay...but she says No . Will I have to take this for the rest of my life?
