Toprol-XL and metalic taste

I take 50 mg of Toporal daily. Since May 1st, I have been admitted to the ER 3 times for Heart attack like chest pain. After reading others problems, I truly sympathize. Metalic taste, severe chest pain, mood swings, always tired. My doctor has taken me off of Lipitor as the answer for the above symptoms. Guess who I'm calling the first thing in the morning!

I have been on toprol for 2 years and gained 20 lbs, I am so tired all the time , I can' t walk by the couch with out laying on it. I don't feel like doing any thing that takes energy.
At first I was on 150mg, and felt dopedup and light headed all the timeso now I take 100mg. I also have a metalic taste in my mouth, and leg cramps, I get charlie horses in my toes.

On 50mg XL for past year. Experience metalic taste, toe pain, significant weight gain, decrease energy, and fatique. It has decrease number of migraines.
