i have been taking Tri-Sprintec for about 3 months now and instantly i felt like i had gained weight however i thought it was my diet since for the last 2 years i had been drinking frappuccinos at starbucks about 3 days a week. I just thought hmm I guess it took 2 years to catch up to me. But now im not so sure, and in fact here is why since I have been gained so much I have been trying to see what I can change and Starbucks was the easiest thing since I really am not eating anything else bad. Since completely removing starbucks AT ALL from my diet I have MIRACULOUSLY not stopped gaining but CONTINUED to gain weight as i take the pill. That is JUST CRAZY, how is that possible!! I am now up to 122lbs. Aside from my pregnancy I have never weighed this much in my life. I should have gained weight 2 years ago when i started going to starbucks but actually i was a size 0-1 at any given time and continued to go to starbucks and never weighed more than 105. The only thing that has changed in the past 3 months is starting on Tri-Sprintec, and removing starbucks from my diet. Just to give you an idea of how much I have gained, I was a size 0, weighed 103 and now I can barely squeeze into my size 4 and weigh 120lbs on my BEST day. I DO NOT recommend this pill.

I posted a question to anyone who used Tri-Sprintec before, but now it's been several months & I'd like to let everyone else know how it's worked for me! Tri-Sprintec has been the best birth control I've ever taken. I have been on other birth controls over the years, and up to this point Yasmin was good but I still had some side effects. I've just started my fourth month on Tri-Sprintec, and I feel more like myself again. I don't have any crazy mood swings, my skin has cleared up, my periods are regular again & my appetite has gone back to normal. I recommend Tri-Sprintec to anyone who is looking for an affordable & reliable birth control (it's offered at the Wal-Mart pharmacy for $9 a month if you don't have insurance.)

I've been taking Tri-Sprintec for probably almost a year and love the price since my insurance plan doesn't cover BCPs. However, I haven't been able to lose weight. I have gained about 5 lbs. recently probably from just giving in to cravings, which, I'm always blaming on PMS! I run about 20 miles/week and have a fairly decent diet most of the time and can't seem to lose the weight. Definitely breast tenderness/enlargement the week before my period. Definitely have heavier periods on this pill than others I've been on. Nauseous? Yes. Usually for several hours. Headaches? Occasionally. Not sure there is any pill out there without some side effect.
