I am concerned...I am presently taking 11 other medications one of which is Crestor. My heart physician wants me to continue Crestor and add TriCor 145 mg to bring down my triglycerides which is presently at 224. I am worried about side affects. Can you respond? Thank you.

The only thing that I have experienced with Tricor is passing gas. And I don't mean now and then, I am talking about the competitive level for some farting contest.

This is kind of a last ditch effort as I have been on all of the strong Cholesterol drugs. Doctors have been alarmed at my 535 cholesterol level and the 3265 triglycerides - as for HDL/LDL who knows where thats at.
Now, everyone say WOW! then I tell you I have been like this for over 15 years. From Omega3, to extreme high doses of Niacin (the kind that makes you flushed badly), Lipitor, Crestor, and others with some that I took multiple pills - Nothing touches me. (Now 9 different drugs and nothing)
Sugar levels under 120 avg., BP 120/72 or less. As for Muscles, no problem. My only real complaint is the farts 24/7. Yes, even in my sleep.
