Ultracet and chest pain

Hi my mother-in-law has been taking Ultracet for quite some time now for a disc disorder. She also take neurontin. Anyway, she has been having chest pains and heart palpitations. The palpitiations can be seen on an EKG but it doesn't mean anything bad. She is having a hard time sleeping because of this pain. She has had ever test possible for heart and an MRI of her abdominal region. Everything came back fine. So I started reading about her meds and found out that Ultracet can cause chest pains. I was wondering if anyone has had this same experience, chest pains. She doesn't take her meds like she should. So could her taking the Ultracet for such a long period and then she takes one, it wears off, could that cause her chest pain? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I was given Ultracet yesterday for pain relief from carpal and cubital tunnel. The side effects were as follows: headache, chest pain with erratic heart rate (not good as I have WPWS and take medication to regulate my heart rhythm) stomach cramps and was not able sleep. My doctor wants me to take this med for the next two weeks at which time I am to have surgery on my right arm and hand. This is a contradiction to the 5 day rule. I took 2 pills over the course of 12 hours. I won't take it again and I'm calling my doctor this morning!!!
