ULTRACET NON-ADDICTIVE??? YEA RIGHT!!! Just like Xanx was suppose to be non addictive when it originally came out. My husband has cronic back pain and ultracet is one of many drugs he's taken over the past 20yrs. Ultracet is one of the most addictive drugs he has taken. The Side effects of the drug is no walk in the park either! His side effects include: sleeping on 2hrs per night, confusion, pain in arms & legs, tremors, not leaving the house and extreme weakness. When he tries to quit taking it he becomes an emotional disaster!! He trembles, becomes extremely paranoid, cries and hurts. RUN FROM ULTRACET!!!!!!! COMMING OFF THIS "NON-ADDICTIVE, NON-NARCOTIC DRUG" IS HORRIBLE!!!

someone commented on the pills in a way that concerned me about continuing so i have stopped them

I was perscribed ultracet for kidney stone surgery. Im was 20 yrs old. Im now 21 and am addicted to the drug. I take 4 a day and if i miss a does i go through withdraw symptoms that include headaches but mostly im unable to sleep. i cringe at night, my legs and my hands i constantly jerk them up and squeeze into a ball. My husband says i keep him awake. This drug gives you a great feeling, and it does take away the pain. When im on it all the time, i sleep 12-20 hrs a day. My life depends on this drug. I have no problem at all getting a perscription, and my insurance covers all but $6.00. Im a real drag when im off it. Please think twice, three times before starting this drug. The cons outweigh the pros.

I have cellulitis in my lower right leg. I have been through many test and they can't seem to find out why it wont go away. I went back to my family dr today and instead of giving me loracet plus like I have been on and what didn't make me sick and helped the pain, he gave me ultracet. One of my family members said that I would like them, that they would really help me. Well that goes to show how every medicine effects everone differently. I took my first one at around 1:30pm today, it didn't do anything for the pain, so at about 6:00pm I took another one. Well let me just say that will be the last one I take. It is now 1:30am here and I am not sleepy at all. I have no energy, but I just can't sleep. I keep itching everywhere. My legs, arms, back, face, and my hands. My pain is still present also. I am going to go back to my dr in the morning if I can get in to see him and I am going to go ask him if he has ever taken these before, and if not, for him to get a few and take them and see how they do him. Maybe that will stop them from being perscribed. I would not recommend them to anyone. I know everyones body reacts diferent, but why take the chance on having these symptoms and many more.

Out of the experiences I have had with muscle pain in my legs, and the simple occurances of some Foreign Dr. from the middle east, I have been frustrated to the point where suicide is an option. I can never talk to these rag head bastards about my problems, because they seem to think you're a liar whose out to get some good pain meds. I never get taken seriously, and can't really lead a normal life. I was prescribed Ultracet, and told the Dr. of the side effects, while he stood there, looking down at me, with his pen in his mouth, spitting out some middle eastern bullshit while I am paying the bastard! No more. No more. I think it's time the patients have the say so over their treatment, not some foreign bastard who only works at a shitty hospital for the pay. I'll never pay another Dr. Bill as long as I fucking live...ever again. As God is my wittness.

I started taking Ultracet two day ago and have experienced acute nervouness, nausea with loss of appetite and flushes. The sympthoms gets worse approximately two hours before the next dosage. I do not know what is worse the side effects or the acute pain in my legs. The itching has kept me awake and reminds me of how I feel if I take codiene, which I am allergic to. I will contact the prescripting Physican and inform him of these side effect and request something else more conducive.

My sun has suffered from three years of age with stomach pain and discomfort uppon eating he is now 12 years old. We have seen many doctors all of whom are very vague. His blood work consistantly comes back with low amylase and lipase. Yet they dont see any need for further investigation. I have been told he has a sensitive stomach. As a mother I see more. I live with him and see him every day. He eats very little, (i think it still hurts) he says he's not in pain anymore. At nine he was still thr...
