My 82 year old mother-in-law was prescribed Ultracet for a badly bruised tail bone as a result of a fall. We were talking about putting her in a nursing facility. She was soooo confused and wouldn't eat, we thought maybe she had had a stroke or something. She is trying to withdraw from Ultracet now and is complaining that her head feels like it is going to explode. I wish she had never in a million years seen Ultracet. Surely a bruised tailbone does not warrant Ultracet and it's terrible side effects.
