Vistaril side effects

I just got prescribed Hydroxyzine for an allergic reaction. Curious to find out what effect it will have on me...

Well hello thr, Vistaril has been in my life for about the last year and a half! I use it as needed and only have had to take it about twice a month. More or less, More on days when it's a holiday or like i have to go to a classroom J/k or I'm drinking caffeine Ha-ha.
No side-effects, maybe it does make me sleepy,

I like it so far, I haven't really been on it that long. I'm not sure if it's from Vistaril, but I have been having VERY vivid life-like dreams since I've started taking it. I think the medication is good for taking the ''edge'' of stress and anxiety for the most part but the time I was confronted with a situation I couldn't handle I did revert back to the actions/emotions of my before Vistaril days. It's just like putting a bandage on and then getting it ripped off and then your fine again....Maybe I need to up my dosage.

No side effect except for sleepy. It DOES work for anxiety and my OCD Thanks CHEMISTS

this is the best med ever for anxiety it even helps me with the depression to. I hope that everyone else has a great experience with it. does make you tired though

Had a sort of "dysphoric" or "dystonic" reaction at dose of 25 mg. Felt like skin crawling, arms and legs twitching, couldn't stop moving limbs. Benadryl helped a bit, but mostly had to wait until it wore off.
I have this reaction, much more seriously, to phenergan and compazine. Could it be related?

NONE AT LOWER DOSES OF 100 MG. DAY/HIGHER DOSES MILD DRY MOUTH/SLIGHT RASH
