Vytorin and leg pain

I am a 45 yr old female and I have been on Vytorin for about 2 yrs or so for my cholesterol problems. Was on Lipitor before that and was getting leg pain so I stopped taking it. When blood work time came around it was still up so my doc put me on Vytorin. I have noticed that I feel like I'm dying. I have severe neck,back and arm pain, cold and hot attacks, can't sleep, chest pain,blurred vision, sudden stomach cramps, nausea, throat and ear aches, and bad stomach problems. I have had heart cath, ekgs,endoscopy, blood work and everything keeps coming back normal. Matter of fact, I went to the heart doc today and he put me on a 24 hour monitor and for low heart rate that has gradually gotten worse over the past few months.He even mentioned a pace maker. I don't even want to start about the depression and anxiety attacks that I have. They are AWFUL. But the more blogs that I have read, I think I know where the problem may lye. The Vytorin, so as of tonight I will NOT take another one..I just hope that there is no permanent damage done as far as my liver. I never thought about Vytorin being an issue until I went to the ear, nose and throat guy the other day for an earache and bronchitis I had been having for the last month. Reviewing my chart, he said what ever you have heard in the news about Vytorin just ignore and keep taking it. Long story short, every since August I have been having what the doctors might think is MS, but they can't peg it. Tremors and seizures, constant pain in my legs and arms, a vision problem, tired all the time, numbness in my face legs and arms, headaches, depression. the list goes on. I had stomach problems but they could never find anything wrong for my feeling sick all the time, so I'm on another med for that. I was just hospitalized again, this time for pancreatitis, again they have no idea why this occurred, they can't explain it. I just know that I am tired of feeling like crap and being sick and being in the hospital all the time. I am going to talk to my doctors about being pulled off the Vytorin and we will see how I feel then. Plus I guess I need to consult my attorney also.

I'm a 36 yo. female weighing in at 119 lbs. About four (4) weeks ago, I found out that my cholesterol is 221/154 so my doctor started me on Vytorin (10/20 mg). I started to - noticeably - not feel like myself about 2-3 weeks ago, but I thought it was just 'female' sickness. Once that factor played itself out I got concerned because I was progressively feeling worse. In general my physical symptoms were feeling extremely tired, nauseous, weakness, constipation, gas, diarrhea, dizzy & lightheaded and inability to concentrate and/or focus. On the 'mental' side, I have a history of panic attacks, depression and social anxiety disorder but they have all been kept under control with medication - that is, until I started taking Vytorin. I'm literally known for my friendliness and sweetness, etc. but for the past couple of weeks I've been in a constant bad mood, cranky, very easily annoyed about things and at people, depressed, anxious and generally uninterested in things that normally excite me. This past Friday night I was, once again, very upset and depressed about how bad I felt and wondering what was wrong with me, etc., and it hit me. The only thing I've done different in/for the past month was the introduction of the Vytorin into my system. I found myself almost crying I was so relieved to have figured out what the problem was. It's been 2 days since I stopped taking the Vytorin and today has been the best I've felt - physically and mentally - in 3 weeks. Hopefully, I'll continue to get back to my 'old self'! (Thanks to everyone else for sharing their side effect(s) symptoms on this site. It helped me verify mine.)
