Yasmin and i bleed

Hi, I have been on Yasmin for 2 years now. I have ALWAYS been a very confident and outgoing person. For the past year i have had panic attacks regularly. I am very hot at night, I have trouble sleeping, yet my period pains are at a minimun and I have few symptons of PMT. (Mind you it is still bad enough to take codeine and paracetamol on the first day of bleeding).

Other side effects that I thought would clear up but which haven't are:- dark patches on my forehead and above my lip (doc said they would go, but seem to 'come' and go) and a very sore throat accompanied by swollen glands, sometimes on the right, sometimes on the left side of my neck. My fingers are tingly and my joints are swollen. The Chest pains could be related to anxiety. I get a migraine 24-72 hours before I bleed, regular as clockwork now.

The worst is the mood swings and the depression, I just really don't recognise myself, tired and teezy all the time.

I was very happy for the first 3-6 months that I took Yasmin, but after that I have known I haven't been 'right', but my anxiety and depression have made me unable to make a decision or be focused why.

i have been on yasmin 4 like one week and already i have become depressed, my skin has gotten worse and i bleed every second day for a few hours and then it stops somtimes it heavy other times its light, its really p'ing me off.. andother thing, im really worried that i may be pregnant, i had unprotected sex on the 5th day of taking my pill and that very same day i forgot to take it :S but i took double the very next day! im only 15 and this is my first ever pill. im so confussed cuz every doc always tells me how gud it is, and i have heard great things about it and now i read this

HALP ME!!!!

I HAVE BEEN TAKING YASMINE FOR 2 MONTHS NOW AND SINCE I STARTED THE FIRST MONTH WAS OK UNTIL THE END WHEN I WAS SUPPOSED TO START MY CYCLE IT WAS HORRIBLE I BLEED SO BAD I COULDNT MOVE THEN THE 2ND MONTH IS WHEN THE PAIN ON THE LEFT SIDE OF MY HEAD STARTED IVE HAD IT EVERY DAY SINCE IT COMES AND GOES EVERY DAY THAT I HAD TO GO SEE MY REGULAR DOCTOR AND GET SOMETHING PRESCRIBED TO ME FOR MIGRAINES NOW I ALSO STARTED GETING A SORE THROAT AND A COUGH THAT WONT GO AWAY AND MY LEGS HURT AT NITE TO WHERE I CANT EVEN SLEEP I GO BACK TO MY GYNO NEXT MONTH ON THE 12TH IM HOPING SHE WILL PUT ME ON SOMETHING WITH LESS SIDE EFFECTS IVE NEVER EXPERIENCED ANYTHING LIKE THIS BEFORE

Oh my god! I just called my gyn to put me back on Yasmin because I was on TriNessa (just as evil as Yasmin). About 3 years ago I had my daughter after trying for 8 years to get pregnant (I have PCOS). My periods were irregular and I was concerned about ovarian cancer as my chances are higher due to the PCOS. My gyn suggested yasmin. I took it for about 3 months. During which time I bleed almost constantly. The doc said I needed to give it more time to even out. I started having severe leg cramps and rapid heart rate. One night, I started having really strange chest pains and was vomitting, needless to say I was concerned of a heartattack. My family doc sent me for a stress test to check my heart, it came back ok. I even mentioned to my doc that I was feeling more depressed and that the leg cramps and heart problem seemed to start with taking Yasmin and he just dismissed it!! My heart palpitaitons and leg cramps stopped when I stopped Yasmin but my depression contined with the new prescribed pill TriNessa and even more symptoms occurred such as extreme exhaustion (I can't seem to get enough sleep), unmotivated, antisocial, aggitated, tearful, no sex drive, weight gain, bloated, heavy periods... I just feel horrible and unhappy. So to any one who is getting off Yasmin do not, I repeat do not take TriNessa! Now that I realize that my other symptoms are validated with the use of Yasmin, I'm not going to take that either! Does anyone who has PCOS know of a good BCP to take to regulate your periods without making you insane?

Hi i am 15 years old and i am have been on Yazmin for 3 months. since i have i have had terrible headahces, moodswings, tingleing and numbness in my left arm and foot. axanity. very run down. hot flashes. sometimes out of nowhere my heart starts to beet really fast and i feel like i have just ran 10 miles and i can't breath. the only good thing is that my boobs are bigger which my bf and i both like... cramps are gone...but when i start my period its only for like 3-4 hours then its gone. also somedays i m very very ...you know...and others its like i don't have a sex drive... also when i do have sex...there us no lubrcation and sometimes i bleed.
