This is a warning to those of you who are going off of Yasmin in an attempt to get pregnant! (along with a few other issues)

I was on Yasmin for almost 3 years, and I'd like to first say that I had SO many stomach issues since being on it that I had eventually been sent to a gastroenterologist by my GP. My gynecologist swore up and down that Yasmin could in no way be the reasoning for my stomach issues (nausea, motion sickness, diarrhea etc) however, I've recently gone off of Yasmin in an attempt to get pregnant. Here's where my huge problem comes into play... About a week and a half after going off of the pill I started having severe dizzy spells as well as fatigue. These symptoms persisted for the next 2 weeks or so and then about 4 days before I was supposed to get my period I started experiencing intense cramps. Of course my fiance and I were a little bit disappointed because this meant that those side effects meant we hadn't successfully conceived. So a few days go back, as does the usual Wednesday that I receive my period. So Thursday I decided to take a pregnancy test and to our complete and utter surprise it came out positive! We were so excited, as were our friends and families. So again, a few days go by (and I never got my period) and my cramps persisted night and day. Then I started experiencing sickness at night time when I tried to go to bed. We of course thought this was due to the pregnancy. Then Monday at about 4AM I woke up in complete and utter pain and went to the bathroom and came to find out I was bleeding. We completely panicked thinking I was miscarrying. I ended up spending that entire day in the hospital and later the next day we found out I was never pregnant. We had gone through a river of emotions within those 2 days and although we were very glad we hadn't miscarried, it was also devastating to realize we were not yet pregnant. False positives are very rare, and I'd have to say that they SUCK. So watch out girls, and make sure to go to the doctors for a blood test ASAP before getting too excited. Just wanted to let you all know.

As for us, we're going to keep on trying and hoping for the best. I of course never intend on going back on Yasmin as I've discovered I've been completely wasting my and my gastroenterologist's time due to this medication.

ok so reading all this just CAUSED me to have a panic attack. i've been having bad depression and mood swings and anxiety and today i was having really really bad stomach cramps and bloating and i can't concentrate and now i'm freaking out. i'm a pretty bad hypochondriac anyway, and now i'm afraid i'm going to have a stroke or something.

i'm sorry if this is really rambly i just wanted to go ahead and post something while i was freaking out to give an example of the anxiety issues caused by this....
:(

i've only been on it for a month and a half now and only have a week left of this pack but after that week i'm quitting. just to make sure my period timing is normal...

oh by the way about me: i'm 17, i've been with the same guy for almost a year, nothing has changed drastically in my life , i'm not as big of a moron as i seem like from this post, i have normal bodily functions , i exercise regularly, i'm pretty healthy, and i normally don't have nearly this bad of emotional issues and don't cry as easily as i have been.

I recently started Yasmin about 9 days ago and I have not experience any real bad side effects. The first two days I felt a little emotional but I think it was because I had just started my period and decided to take the pill on Day 1 of my period. However, I am still spotting and wondering if this is normal. I am also experiencing some breast tenderness and stomach cramps. I usually have have breast tenderness and cramps two weeks before my actual period but I am thinking at this point it has nothing to do with my period but the actual pill. Can someone please let me know if this is normal?

I was taking Yasmin until mid 2007 and took a break until 3 months ago. Since starting with Yasmin again I've been feeling very unwell. Constant nausea, sever fatigue, hair loss which I have never experienced before, stomach cramps, no energy, weight loss, kidney infections. I have been to the doctor twice in the last week presenting with these symptoms. I have 5 pills left in my third pack of Yasmin and I'm stopping today. Yasmin should be taken off the market- there must have some change to the manufacturing process since I last took Yasmin last year.

Hello everyone! I am so happy I found your postings. I went off Yasmin At the end of March and have not had any big symptoms except weird stomach cramps and bloating. I had my period the first month but it was extremely light and I only really spotted for three days. This month however I am late and have not had my period yet. I was very worried about being pregnant but I took a test yesterday and it cam back negative. I am relived to hear that others have not had a period since stopping Yasmin. Does anyone know when it will start to regulate itself again?

i started to take yaz 6 days ago after reading all the benefits of this pll. Before yaz, I was on Ortho Tricyclen lo and I am so sorry I switched. Within these 6 days, I was moody, feeling so much nausea, and I am having terrible stomach cramps. I stopped taking this pill and want to know if these symptoms will subside, and when can I expect to get my period. I have always been regular. I hope I feel better soon, this is so out of character for me.

I am 22 and have been taking Yasmin for 3 1/2 years. Everything was great and then all of a sudden i started getting the same symptoms of all of you. depression, stomach cramps, zero sex drive, extreme dryness and almost all the others. my relationship is suffering but I'm not willing to go off a pill bc completely. Can someone please suggest a pill that is good with less bad side effects? I'm desperate!

I have been on Yasmin on/off for over 4 years. Every time I am on it for more than three months, I become depressed, my appetite suffers, and recently I have been experiencing headaches, nausea and a severe vaginal dryness that is bothering my boyfriend as well. Good things are that my breasts have gotten bigger and my skin completely cleared. However, the bad side effects outweigh the positive. I also have stomach cramps and blurred vision.

I was compelled to write this because of all the negative comments that have been posted. I believe the symptoms people are experiencing are real, but I also believe that they don't happen to every single person who takes Yasmine. People tend to speak out more on the negative than the positive, and that may be part of the reason there's so much bad feedback. I've been on it for two weeks now and haven't had a single side-effect...nothing. Although I wouldn't mind the bigger breasts side-effect. ;) I'm 37 and haven't been on birth control pills in probably 15 years. At the time I started taking this pill, I also quit smoking with the help of Chantix, and still no major mood swings, depression, decreased sex drive, etc. I have very acne prone skin, but it's been MUCH less oily since I started taking Yasmine. I've had some breakouts, but no large cysts. I also started using Retin-A about a month ago and believe the pimples I'm getting now are from that, not the Yasmine. Bottom line, everyone is different, and not all meds work for all people. I would encourage anyone who is concerned about starting Yasmine or wants to come off just because of comments posted here, to think twice and talk to their doctor.

What are the possible side effects of Yasmin?
Get emergency medical help if you have any of these signs of an allergic reaction: hives; difficulty breathing; swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat. Stop using Yasmin and call your doctor at once if you have any of these serious side effects:
sudden numbness or weakness, especially on one side of the body;

sudden headache, confusion, pain behind the eyes, problems with vision, speech, or balance;

chest pain or heavy feeling, pain spreading to the arm or shoulder, nausea, sweating, general ill feeling;

a change in the pattern or severity of migraine headaches;

nausea, stomach pain, low fever, loss of appetite, dark urine, clay-colored stools, jaundice (yellowing of the skin or eyes);

a breast lump; or

symptoms of depression (sleep problems, weakness, mood changes).

Continue using the medication and talk with your doctor if you have any of these less serious side effects:

mild nausea, vomiting, bloating, stomach cramps;

breast pain, tenderness, or swelling;

freckles or darkening of facial skin, increased hair growth, or loss of scalp hair;

changes in weight or appetite, swelling of your hands or feet;

problems with contact lenses;

vaginal itching or discharge;

changes in your menstrual periods; or

headache, nervousness, dizziness.

Side effects other than those listed here may also occur. Talk to your doctor about any side effect that seems unusual or that is especially bothersome.

Just thought I would throw this out there for everyone..just found it on a Yasmin website.

Hi everyone –

I read this entire thread (wow, but good read)! I will start with the positives and end with the negatives (and yes, I’m going OFF Yaz).

Positives I lost weight (flat stomach due to the diuretic) and spontaneous sex (but the tricky thing is, it takes away your libido or at least mine) – lost about 5 LBs and decreased appetite. 120 to 115 lbs and sometimes 112 – flexuates between 112-115.

Negatives
First month I felt VERY nauseous – took the pills at night but didn’t help. I had some stomach cramps which went away. I had severe migraines (one that made me vomit and I could not move & I was in such unbearable pain I thought I was going to die – seriously (stuck in bed all night – and yes the headaches did stop after 4 months). I felt “spacey” all the time (this was early on, went away) – Best way to describe this would be like drinking a glass or two of wine, I felt a bit numb. I would get as one poster described these brain spurts that zapped me with this dizzy thing that lasted seconds and would go away (nice to read that as I know I’m not alone). Another common side effect I still got up until the 6 month was my ears plugging up (usually in the morning) and it happened a lot and it was from the pill. I also had troubles sleeping and anxiety out of nowhere (all of a sudden I felt too nervous to walk in my bosses office, very bizarre). I had to go in the bathroom and breathe then felt ok.

The week before my period I am MOODY and ANGRY inside and it’s made me feel more withdrawn from my boyfriend. I was never a depressed person before or moody minus occasional crabbiness from lack of sleep or stress. I never had severe PMS to start to it did the reverse for me, made my PMS worse. I have only been on this pill for 6 months to by the way! Curious if it is true about the serotonin in this pill – if there is serotonin isn’t it supposed to make you happy, LOL so I don’t know how much that part is true. Guess I do better a la natural!

My libido is gone but only comes back during aunt flow when I’m taking NO PILLS and I feel happy during my period (and sexual) and my old self (go figure?). the thought of sex doesn’t cross my mind and trust me prior I was like a cat on a hot tin roof (in my 30’s afterall)!

I used to do Ortho for years with headaches but no loss of sex drive or anything then stopped cold turkey for a year. Prior to that I did seasonal and had some hair loss and a brown spot on my face due to the BC.

It’s really hard to find a specialist who really gets in the ins and outs of birth control pills. They should have a dr that works only on BC’s (sorry but most gyno’s don’t really know as they say “everyone is different which is true but c’mon, you guys are way more educated of the pro’s and con’s then they are). I went to see an OBGYN that said “that’s what happens in relationships, you’re libido drops” when I told her, I thought “huh” what kind of DR are you? My regular DR was way better informed but not a specialist (waste of my time and money)! She told me to stop having a period and to take Yaz continuously and gave me more free samples. Wonder how much the manufacturer is paying her? Makes me wonder. I prefer to have a period, that’s when I felt like myself again, ha!

I want lists and stats of all pills same with side effects and percentages of women who experience the same. I wish Oprah would do a show on this – anyone have any connections??? It should be called “Birth Control, what he manufacturers don’t want to tell you” basically you can have condomless sex but the catch is “ you don’t want sex” LOL

Thanks.
Peanut

PS The straw was last Saturday – I was so moody (5 days before aunt flow) and my BF thought I wasn’t into him anymore and I couldn’t shake the withdrawn feeling and today I miss him so much and can’t wait to see him Saturday and I will not be starting my new pack of pills on Sunday –we’re putting Latex back into business  until I research other methods, possibly nuva ring but who knows? Next 2-3 months I don’t want anything in my body besides food and weekend drinks, ha!

SIDE EFFECTS OF YASMIN AS NOTED ON THE INISERT THAT COMES WITH THE PRESCRIPTION:
Nausea
vomiting
headache
diarrhea
bleeding between menstrual periods (spotting)
weight gain
acne
stomach cramps
rash
swelling or bloating
skin spots
breast tenderness
or difficulty wearing contact lenses may occur.

If any of these effects persist or worsen, notify your doctor promptly. Tell your doctor immediately if any of these serious side effects occur:
dizziness
flu-like symptoms (e.g., fever, cough, unusual weakness/fatigue, sore throat, muscle aches)
mental/mood changes
trouble sleeping
hair loss
vaginal infections.

Tell your doctor immediately if any of these unlikely but serious side effects occur:
severe headache
pain in the lower legs or groin
trouble breathing
chest pain
vision changes
severe stomach pain
one-sided weakness
yellowing eyes or skin
lumps in the breast.

If you notice any other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

PRECAUTIONS: Tell your doctor your medical history, especially of:
heart problems
stroke
gallbladder disease
diabetes
high cholesterol or triglyceride levels
high blood pressure
migraines
seizures
irregular vaginal bleeding
depression
any allergies.

This medication is not recommended for use if you have the following medical conditions:
liver problems
kidney or adrenal gland problems

blood vessel problems (e.g., cerebral vascular disease, coronary artery disease)
history of certain cancers (especially endometrial or breast cancer)
heavy smoking (especially if older than 35 years of age).
If you are near-sighted or wear contact lenses you may develop vision problems or have trouble wearing your contact lenses.

Contact your eye doctor if this occurs. If you stop taking this birth control medicine and want to become pregnant, it may take a longer time than is usually seen with women not taking birth control medicine. Consult your doctor.

Do not smoke cigarettes. Birth control pills combined with smoking cigarettes, especially in women older than 35 years of age, puts you at a much higher risk of developing serious health problems than with birth control pills alone. Consult your doctor or pharmacist for more information.

If you will be having surgery, be confined to a chair or bed for a long period of time (e.g., a long plane flight), or have recently delivered a baby, notify your doctor beforehand. Special precautions may need to be taken in these circumstances while you are taking this drug. This medication must not be used during pregnancy. If you become pregnant or think you may be pregnant, inform your doctor immediately. This medication passes into breast milk and has had undesirable effects on nursing infants. Consult your doctor before breast- feeding.

hi jillybean. good luck with the diet i hope it goes well for you. i have tried the 5-htp as i heard it could be beneficial for depression/anxiety. I only took it for a few days as i have IBS and it gave me 4 days worth of stomach cramps and diarreah, i also found that if i took it at night it gave me really vivid dreams. bad effects aside i did feel calmer taking it but it was just no good for me as i have a sensitive tummy. i only add this as i know a lot of us run out and buy anything in the hope that it will help (i know i have spent a fortune on herbal supplements in the last year!) i'm not saying don't try it but on some web sites it does not recommend it if you have a history of bowel or GI problems,i only found this out after i starting getting stomach cramps! for those of you taking low dose anti-depressants it could be worth trying if you want to get off the prescription meds.there have been some really good reports about 5-htp working just as well as some AD's.
(no not take this whilst taking anti-depressants,it may be worth checking with your health care provider to make sure you are ok to take it and that it will not interact with any other meds you may be on.)

keep fighting the good fight ladies and remember what doesn't kill us makes us stronger!

I started taking Yasmin 4 and a half years ago. I had really bad endo problems and my doctor put me on it to skip periods. It really worked for that. BUT, I started having terrible IBS attacks. My doctor thought it was a side effect of the endo. In 2005 I had lasic surgery to gid rid of the endo. I continued taking the Yasmin for birth control. I also continued having IBS attacks. They have gotten worse and worse. It never hit me that it could be my pill until about 4 days ago. I went on line and started looking for information. I'm so glad I found this site! It has helped me realize I need to get off this medication ASAP. I also have had anxiety problems and some mild depression but I've just assumed it was from the IBS. I've been off Yasmin for 4 days now and think I'm feeling a little worse. Stomach cramps, don't want to eat, I feel like I want to jump out of my skin!! Has anyone else out there had these symptoms? Will they go away anytime soon???

just wanted to ease your concerns about not having a period after getting off yasmin. i was on it for about 4 months then had to get off bc i lost so much weight. it took almost 12 months for me to menstruate again! however, my situation was complicated by low body weight. i'm on it again now at at higher weight bc of endometriosis pain but i'm having a lot of side effects that i didn't have the first time (ie. leg cramps, stomach cramps, bloating, etc..)

good luck!

hi all, it sounds like i may have come to the right place,hopefully someone can help me. i started taking yasmin in jan 05 after stopping breastfeeding my then 1 year old. All seemed fine but 1 year ago i started to get severe anxiety attacks and panic attacks paraniod episodes as well as numbing in my face,twitching in my left eye,palpitations,stomach cramps,constipation or worse the other extreme! and raging headaches that feel like someone is crushing my head.My doctor told me i was suffering from anxiety disorder and put me in touch with a counceller and gave me a prescription for diazepam, i came off the diazepam and have been trying natural congnitive therapy for my anxiety (which has given me a foem of agoraphobia, not great with 2 kids that want to go out all the time!) i have been looking into the hormone link as i seem to feel worse about 9 days before my period then i came across this site, i am seriously considering stopping taking this pill ,is not needed anyway as sex is the last thing on my mind these days. does this sound familiar to any-one? did your anxiety improve when you stopped taking the yasmin, i am scared that it will make it worse if i stop but i know that i have to take that risk to find out if it is the yasmin that is making me ill,help i feel like a total crank most of the time,i want to go back to being normal!

Here is my story. I used OrthoTriCyclen Lo for over a year...no side effects and nothing was wrong. I decided to switch to Yasmin because it was cheaper and I was told that a lot of women were on it.
Needless to say, its been about a month since I've been on it and I feel horrible. I have such bad stomach cramps and bloating. It feels like I don't eat anything and I still have to run so fast to the bathroom. I called the GYN and she told me that it could be a virus or an upper GI infection. BUT, the thing is that I do not get sick that often. I barely get side effects with any medication I take. Yasmin is the first BCP that I have had side effects with. I guess I have to prove the GYN wrong. I know that it is a side effect and not a hallucination or virus/infection.
I constantly feel dehydrated and irritable. I also have a mild case of depression. I just don't want to talk to anyone and I feel sad. I go home after work and I will just sit there quietly and my mother always thinks that something is wrong. Sometimes I feel like crying but for no apparent reason.
Maybe this is a sign for me to stop. I guess I will have to go back to OrthoTriCyclen Lo since it worked great for me...
Maybe I should listen to my own advice...

Thank you for everyone's posts. You have been great! I wish the best to all...

I was on Yasmin for 17 days, when I decided the side effects were too annoying to continue. My breasts grew almost an entire cup size and hurt badly. I was feeling weepy for no reason. I had occasional leg cramps and stomach cramps/diarrhea. I am on a minimal dose of prozac for depression, so birth control is always tricky with my mood. I just felt in a fog. Sexual libido was nill. I went off of it exactly one week ago. But I still feel weepy for no reason at least once a day. And I still feel overly tired. My libido seems to be coming back, but just not the same yet. Prozac is another possible hinderance on this, but I have been on it for a few years and it never had this effect before.
Has anyone else who went off of Yasmin had continuing side effects/ withdrawal symptoms? I just want to go back to feeling like me again. I suppose it will take maybe one cycle for my hormones to balance out again? Thanks for any input.

I have been taking Yasmin for about 6-7 months due to abnormally long periods after the birth of my second baby at age 37. I also have a tumor in my uterus that might be causing painful intercourse, so the Dr. said to take it for three months straight and then have a period. In the meantime I have noticed severe sotmach cramps and diarriha (how ever you spell it) since October. Funny thing was that the first round I was suppose to take 2 months of Yasmin and at the end of the second month have a period, then do 3 months and have a period, but I noticed that on the 2nd month after I had my period (which I acutally stopped taking Yasmin since the white pill is only a placebo) and then started back on the next round of the 3 month cycle I started having real bad stomach cramps, etc. I am about to have my 2nd period of the 3 month cycle and I won't take the placebo and see if my stomach feels better. If it does, then I am stopping Yasmin. Another note, I take Yasmin at night and wake up at 1 am and 4 am like clockwork with stomach pain. I will keep everyone posted after the "placebo" period to see if my stomach gets better. I anyone has any similar symptoms, please let me kow. Tammy.

Only been on yasmin for just over a week. I feel extremely fatigued as if every last bit of energy has been sucked out of me and i'm usually a very active person. Also i've been extremely depressed and moody. My breasts are extremely sore and i feel nauseus. I was put on it to ease my extremely painful stomach cramps but i am already considering getting off before it does any real damage. Dont know which is worse, my painful stomach cramps or the way i'm feeling at the moment. I dont feel right at all.

I have been off Yasmin now for 3 months. I was on it for just over 8 months. I started to loose my hair but it has slowed down a bit now. My periods have been OK with a bit of stomach cramps, I have not had them since I was a teenager and I'm 37 now. My periods only last 2 1/2 days though. Mentally I am starting to feel better but I have taken St Johns Wort so that helps. I did get the bloating and water retention but it comes and goes. I have lost weight as I put some on before I came off Yasmin. I'm following a healthy eating plan. Please remember the only way to put 'fat' on is to eat too much the other weight is fluid retention. I know it does our heads in and makes us look pregnant but keep going it will come off. Drink plenty of fluids and make sure you are having healthy protein in your diet to help with the fluid retention. Good luck everyone.

Post your symptoms since stopping Yasmin!!!

Hey everyone it's Kay21 here and I just wanted to post my 3 month off Yasmin update. Because stopping the pill is a hard decision, I figured we should all post are updates here to help/support those who are planning to stop or who have recently stopped Yasmin.

I have been off of Yasmin since April 17. As some of you already know, I was experiencing horrible side effects while on Yasmin for 3 years (particularly stomach problems, vaginal dryness, muscle cramps, increased blood pressure and heart rate and anxiety).

The first 1 month off of Yasmin was okay. In fact, I felt the best I had ever felt in a while. My blood pressure and heart rate decreased and the migraines and muscle cramps went away. But when I hit the 2 month (8 week) mark, I felt HORRIBLE. I was severely depressed and anxious. I was crying all the time and felt a severe sense of DOOM! The physical symptoms also started to become problematic. The acne increased and I started growing more facial hair. The worse symptom, however, was that I started losing a ton of hair. I would lose stray hairs all day (probably about 200 a day). Since I have hit the three month mark, the hair loss has gotten MUCH WORSE! Now I am losing CLUMPS of hair all day. I have seen several doctors about this. Some say it's because of stress and a few (a derm, GYN and endo) say that hiar loss is common after stopping bcp. I have already loss about 1/3 of my hair.

I am also really concerned, because I have not had a period since April 22. So my doctor has put me on provera for 10 days to induce a period.

For those who have stopped Yasmin, what have your symptoms been (i.e. increased acne, weight gain, anxiety, etc.). Has anyone experienced hair loss? How long did it take to get a period???

Thanks...

I tried Yasmin for about 4 months last year, after being on Ortho for years. My doctor prescribed it after I mentioned weight gain (about 5 lbs) on Ortho. While on Yasmine I started having serious stomach issues including severe constipation and stomach aches, to the extent that even over-the-counter laxitives did not help and I was very uncomfortable. Once I woke up in the middle of the night with servere stomach cramps and sweats to the point that I was doubled up on the floor for an hour. At the time, I did not realize that it could be connected with Yasmin. I also was not feeling myself emotionally; I was quick to get upset and felt pretty down. Finally, my skin was worse than it had been on Ortho, and I did not lose the weight. The positive was that I had very short and light periods (probably only a day or two).

Wow! I thought I was all alone. I started taking Yasmin a month and a half ago, and I have not felt good since. My main problem is stomach cramps which are continual. I also have a sharp pain in my lower abdomin which comes and goes. I cannot eat a lot because it hurts my stomach even more. The other day I also had shooting back pain. The first week of Yasmin I had the worst cramps I have ever had. I was in tears! I also bleed for the whole first month except the week of the placebo pills where I'm suppose to have my period?! I have also not been able to sleep well, whereas before I could always get a good sleep. I'm so glad you girls have informed me of your struggles. I feel so much better now, and I'm calling my gyno today!

I started taking Yasmin in August and stopped taking it five weeks ago.

Whilst I was taking this horrible pill I was subject to the worst stomach cramps, bloating, constant GAS!, my weight increased, my breasts were HUGE, sore and itchy, I was dizzy constantly, I had NO SEX DRIVE whatsoever, my appetite increased and I couldn't stop eating, and worst of all I had a dreadful bout of thrush that lasted the entire two months (and still remains a problem today).

I honestly thought there was something wrong with me, like I wasn't healthy but it was this pill all along. I can only be thankful I didn't suffer from anxiety attacks like so many of you.

If you are suffering from these dreadful side effects and you have not been feeling your normal self since you started taking Yasmin, stop taking it immediately and see your doctor. I acknowledge that some of you have not experienced any negative side-effects. It's great if you can find a pill that suits you.

After five weeks Yasmin-free I'm getting back to normal. The awful side-effects have disappeared although I'm still waiting for my sex drive to return and the thrush is still causing problems. Fingers crossed!!!

I started Yasmin almost a month ago and I have had almost no side effects. I read this website before going on the pill and was scared out of my mind. But nothing has happened so far. A LITTLE spotting, a little premenstrual cramping (barely painful), and I do have to pee a little more than usual. i went on the pill to help with my menstrual cramping and so far i havent gotten to the end of the pack so i dont know if it will help yet...but i havent experienced any of the changes anyone else has. no blinding pain, no stomach cramps, no nausea, no acne, no weight gain. i guess this pill just works differently for different people so i would suggest that anyone try this to just see how it works out.

Hiya girls! I've been on Yasmin for a month now and have been experiencing the worst stomach cramps of my life - I feel like I'm in labour ... I'm convinced a baby is going to suddenly pop out, it's horrendous. I've had a tiny bit of brownish blood but nothing more. The other thing is that my boobs are massive - swollen and sore - which I loathe. I've alway been flat chested and like being that way.

Has anyone else experienced the stomach cramps from hell? And will my boobs go down? I hate it. Not happy.

I have been on Yasmin for 1 week, I was on Ortho Cyclen I asked my dr. if I could switch because I was constantly bloated. I don't feel bloated now on yasmin but I have noticed I have to watch how much I eat because I get real bad stomach cramps. It's like my stomach has shrunk and I'm trying to eat what I normally do. I also was breaking about bad on my chin but it's dat 7 and it's about gone. I'm going to stay on this pill though cause I feel a lot better on it than I have any other pill.
