Zithromax side effects

some stomach discomforts on the first 3 days and diarrhea for a few days. all in all not that bad

The problem I had with this drug is that it's only good for small sinus infections as far as I've experienced. It was clear after the first time I took this drug that it took two weeks instead of the usual one week treatment to get the sickness under control. And then when I started getting constant sinusitis this drug didn't work for me at all. For sinus infections I prefer taking Levaquin, it works better for me. (They usually only prescribe this to adults - it's not intended for children as strong as it is, but it all depends on the individual person.) I wouldn't recommend Zithromax for severe or constant sinus infections.

Low fever or low body temperature. My 9 mo old was taking this for a cold and about an hour after each dose, her temp would drop to about 94.2! That's hypothermia! After several hours and being bundled in warm blankets, her temp would climb.

I've only seen this side effect listed on one site. www.drugs.com It is very scary.

I have diarreah and crampy belly. and i feel like thowing up.But I dont I just have diarreah. Thank You Michelle

I highly recommend that if you are on Zithromax that you DO NOT get into a chlorinated pool. I did and got a horrible rash all over my body. I also had a friend report the same thing. Just something to think about.

Migraine type headaches, extreme sensitivity to light, also sensitivity to sound, this has been going on for months, gradually improving

Nausea, vomiting alot, itchiness, headaches, sometimes migranes, the headaches and nausea haven't gone away since I took it 6 days ago. It started the second day I took the med.

Constantly ringing in my right ear second day of five day
therapy Z-Pack 250mg.

Nausea and incredible itching on extremeties....especially arms

the nausea did not manifest itself until 4th day into the med.

Bad stomach pain, like an ulcer.

My Little boy got a yeast infection, but it cleared his cold up.

intense stomach pain that cramping that is unbarible where I feel like vomiting and the pain does not stay in one place it moves all around.

Feels like I've been swimming all day. Ringing in ears.
