Zocor and hard time

Is anyone here when referring to Zocor taking the generic or the brand name? I have had trouble with vivid dreams and after several months I am exhausted from this sleep interruptions. I used to take the name brand before they had the generic
and had no problems at all.
The vivid dreams started after taking the generic.
Any responses would be appreciated.

I was reading the various side effects and I have one more to add. Has anyone experienced vertigo--not dizziness but spinning. It lasts for about 15 seconds and it's enough to scare you to death! I've also noticed that the whites of my eyes turn red.
I've also experienced pain in my legs, heels and knees. It's so difficult to walk that I had cortisone shots in my knees and three series of epidural in my lower back. No doctor ever thinks it could be from medication. I've been on Zocor 10mg for two years
I've gone to more doctors now than I have in all my years. Everyone is a specialist. No one treats you as a whole. Now I have to go to a neurologist for the vertigo.
I'm thinking all this is related to Zocor. The only other medicine I take is Protonix.

I have been taking Zocor and Cozaar and Verapmil. But I think since Zocor (only 10ml) my whole body aches all the time,. sometimes I get these localized tooth ache like pain. My right hip always hurt now my right elbow does. I have a hard time when I first get up, but the worst part is my whole body, flesh and all feels traumatized. Same sensetaion you feel when you have hurt one part of your body aand all of your body feels the pain. THe other effect I experience is on the week ends whenI'm out and about, shopping or what ever, I run out of energey sometime in the afternoon; my whole body feels like lead. What helps is drinking water at that moment and I feel some whaaaat better. Have to talk to my doctor yet.

I was on Zocor a little over a year and a friend told me about his girl friends mother and the problem she was haveing and I stopped.
I, had leg,ankle.feet,sholders,arms I was in pain all the time. I coulden't hardly walk and was hanging onto things to keep from falling. I was always afrade of breaking my feet or legs. The mussels in my arms fell like they are tearing when I lift something over 10 lb's or if I turn a screw to tight.
I am an Electrion and it's hard to climb ladders and I'm afrade of falling. I couldn't catch myself.
I still can't sleep and I have a lot of stiffness in my neck and sholders.
When I took myself off this medication I told the Doctor and now she has stopped all appointments and now I have no Doctor.
I have also had a hard time getting up and down stairs and get out of breath. I still have some problems but things are getting a little better.
