I have been taking Zocor for a couple of years and have had lower back pain since. I just stopped taking it a few days ago to see if that is the cause and it is already better, not gone yet.
I also very often cannot say the word I mean to say. The wrong word comes out. I might say "Go answer the refrigerator" instead of "Go answer the phone". I don't know if that is better yet. But I do feel that these are side effects of the drug.
