I took Zofran for nearly my entire pregnancy for severe vomiting, and it was the wonder drug. HOWEVER, I want to let everyone know that my son has a lot of health issues (i.e. severe reflux, asthma, hypotonia, oral motor issues) and I've met some other moms with children who have similar issues. Surprisingly, all of these moms took Zofran through their pregnancies as well, so my gut tells me there is a link.

Have zofran pump in my leg I get a big red welt around the area that the needdle is in my thigh.
What does this mean I'm pregnant and taking this medication because I throw up anything I eat. I'm 4 months pregnant and lost about 15 pounds already.'
Help would the pills zofran help more than the pump in my leg.

My sun has suffered from three years of age with stomach pain and discomfort uppon eating he is now 12 years old. We have seen many doctors all of whom are very vague. His blood work consistantly comes back with low amylase and lipase. Yet they dont see any need for further investigation. I have been told he has a sensitive stomach. As a mother I see more. I live with him and see him every day. He eats very little, (i think it still hurts) he says he's not in pain anymore. At nine he was still thr...
by lisa39, 3 replies, updated about 1 hour ago.January 2007 I had an epidural steroid injection with Kenalog go completely wrong. The doctor placed the needle in too far and punctured the dura. Instead of aborting the procedure, he did the Kenalog injection directly in to my subdural space. I had immediate side effects, starting with a dural puncture headache. That headache changed in to chronic daily headaches that are very severe. I developed burning stabbing leg and foot pain, . I have bladder dysfunction, sexual dysfunction, and numbness througho...

So far Xray, bloodwork, CT scan and endoscopy and colonosocopy all normal, except for Barrett's esophagus, which is an issue, but would not be causing this pain. She has not been in school for 2 months. Dr's now all say it is anxiety. She wakes up with this and goes to bed with this. Has it night and day and on weekends. She does have some anxiety issues, was...

Thank you for posting your comments and for those who shared what effect it has on on them and their babies. I started taking Zofran after I had to go to the hospital during my pregnancy for being so sick and dehydrated and down 17 pounds. I was hoping the sickness would stop at the end of the first trimester, but I am now 17 weeks and I don't think it is going to go away. I started reducing the dose and cutting the pill in half and quarters, but I was still very nervous about taking a medication when I was pregnant. A couple days ago I stopped taking it, about 5 weeks of using it. Now I am back to being sick and trying everything again to get through the day, but I feel more secure in the decision. I also have an appt with an Acupuncturist in two days who treats nausea in pregnant women. I am very excited about tying this new option that is not a medication. Thank you again for sharing!!
