Thank you for posting your comments and for those who shared what effect it has on on them and their babies. I started taking Zofran after I had to go to the hospital during my pregnancy for being so sick and dehydrated and down 17 pounds. I was hoping the sickness would stop at the end of the first trimester, but I am now 17 weeks and I don't think it is going to go away. I started reducing the dose and cutting the pill in half and quarters, but I was still very nervous about taking a medication when I was pregnant. A couple days ago I stopped taking it, about 5 weeks of using it. Now I am back to being sick and trying everything again to get through the day, but I feel more secure in the decision. I also have an appt with an Acupuncturist in two days who treats nausea in pregnant women. I am very excited about tying this new option that is not a medication. Thank you again for sharing!!

I'm experiencing severe vertigo, dizziness and debilitating headaches. It does curve my nausea for pregnancy, but I've found that taking half the dose prevents the other side effects from being so severe. Anyone else experience this?

I took Zofran for nearly my entire pregnancy for severe vomiting, and it was the wonder drug. HOWEVER, I want to let everyone know that my son has a lot of health issues (i.e. severe reflux, asthma, hypotonia, oral motor issues) and I've met some other moms with children who have similar issues. Surprisingly, all of these moms took Zofran through their pregnancies as well, so my gut tells me there is a link.

Hi there, Make sure to check with your OB on what type of enema is okay for pregnant women. I checked into using that when I was on Zofran, but was told some are okay and some can cause contractions and should not be used. Hope you are feeling better. When I stopped taking the Zofran and decided I would cope with being sick for the rest of the pregnancy, I changed my pre-natals and also went to acupuncture for the nausea (someone who was used to working with pregnant people) and between the two I felt better.
