I have been on zoloft for about 10 weeks. I had alot of "neurological" side effects...tingling hands and feet; muscle tension in arms and legs; numbness in hands feet and face. I hated it. I didn't have any of the "normal" side effects i.e. diarrhea, dry mouth, sexual side effect. I had the stranger ones. I've been off of zoloft for 10 days and the withdrawal is uncomfortable. I had brain zaps, dizziness, general flu-like feelings, headaches. Now starting with muscle tension in arms again...does any one know when this will end?!?!?

The first time I was put on zoloft I had diarrhea constantly. I would go out to eat at a restaurant and before I had even left the restaurant, the entire dinner had already passed through me - mostly undigested. I couldn't sleep, but I had tons of energy. This went on for months, and I lost 30 lbs. Along with a lot of hair. I don't remember whether or not I was as twitchy before I started taking zoloft. I've had bad dry mouth, but I've found that Biotene toothpaste and mouthwash help out with that very much. The odd thing is, I had to stop taking zoloft because I changed jobs and couldn't afford it without insurance. Now that I'm back on it, my side effects are completely different. I have major headaches, fatigue, I can sleep all day, and I can't concentrate to save my life. I haven't had any diarrhea, in fact I feel constipated, and hungry. I'm gaining weight instead of losing...?

have been taking zoloft for 15 mths, gradually gone up to 300mg, and have been on that dosage for 10 mths. have experienced most symptons, dry mouth, vivid dreams (bad) tremors, weight gain. have recently had suspected seizure and have had eec, cat scan and am waiting for mmr . I have pins and needles on right side of head, involuntary spasms,, vague days and extreme tiredness. I could sleep most of the day and at night. I have to be very careful not to over exert because symptons are worse. have been worried about symptons being like ms but having visited this site am wondering if it's all down to the zoloft. Iwant to stop taking it.

I have gained 40 lbs in the past year, since taking zoloft, always hungry, feel more anxious, cant seem to relax, or concentrate sometimes. Feel sometimes like my mind is racing. Mood swings, dry mouth, trouble sleeping.
But the positive effects has been relief of depression. I get angry sometimes, and hysterical, much more emotional.

I have anxiety disorder but was given too high a dosage for me (100mg) which made me feel like I was in a fog...like I was really high on something. Also gave me major insomnia, stomach cramps and dry mouth. But when my dose was reduced to 50 mg, I felt much better. The anxiety is gone, and I feel like I am more "present", and better able to focus. My only negative side effects now seem to be a bit of paranoia (nothing serious) and a big appetite increase. The benefits are definitely outweighing the negatives.

I was taking Zoloft, for pain management, due to back surgery, this was taken for over 24 months during that time after the first six months my body broke out in hives. I would have muscle cramps in the middle of the nite in my legs. Dry mouth, hunger for food when I wasn't. Also my body broke out into numbers sores, that dermo couldn't figure out, after it left numerous scars on my arms, shoulders an buttock area and some on my legs, I quit taking this junk, medicine, also it cause me to have anxiety outburst, and made me angry when I am a happy go lucky person, personally I thiink this medicine is junk, now I have scars on my body to prove it.
