First day on 25 mg. I feel like I could sleep the rest of my life. Also I had diarrhoeaea 3 times as well as a very uneasy first night of sleep. Woke up sweating and very anxious like I was having an anxiety attack. I don't think my mild symptoms are intense enough for this drug. I'm stopping. Or should I give it a chance? My symptoms are just mild anxiety in social and work situations. I can deal but I wanted to feel better as in absolutely no anxiety. Oh and also I have absolutely no appetite but I did manage to have sex today with no problems. lucky I guess. Please respond with your thoughts...thanks

Ive been on Zoloft for 2 days and the first day I took it I had bad Diarrhea and my teeth hurt they feel like I had them clenched all night long and I can barley eat. Ive been getting gas, nausea, and I feel faint and like I'm going to throw up. I'm on the Zoloft for Anxiety, is this normal or could it not be related to the Zoloft and I have something other than the anxiety????

I have been on zoloft for about 10 weeks. I had alot of "neurological" side effects...tingling hands and feet; muscle tension in arms and legs; numbness in hands feet and face. I hated it. I didn't have any of the "normal" side effects i.e. diarrhea, dry mouth, sexual side effect. I had the stranger ones. I've been off of zoloft for 10 days and the withdrawal is uncomfortable. I had brain zaps, dizziness, general flu-like feelings, headaches. Now starting with muscle tension in arms again...does any one know when this will end?!?!?

Suicidal thoughts/out of body experiences/dreams and feelings. Shaking/electric shocks. on 100mg once a day at night.
Now on zero.
I stop just like that. Decided stop it completely and don't go back. Took two weeks for withdrawl symptoms to stop!
No withdrawl symptoms whatsoever after that.
Stopping a psychiatric drug is like trying to stop smoking, it isn't easy, but with sheer determination it can be done. Just decide to stop and don't give up, no matter how bad the side-effects/withdrawl symptoms get.....it's the only way to do it.

I have been withdrawing from 100mg of Sertraline for 2 months - now at 75mg per day. Experiencing terrible jangles (electric shocks?) - apparently this is something to do with the electrical current running through your body. The drugs can break your internal circuits hence the shock feelings.
Asparagus, apples and carrots have been recommended as a potential ease for this problem. I'll let you know how I get on.
Additionally, skin rash developing randomly over my body - I suspect this to be a withdrawal side effect too.
Good luck to anyone coming off this.

I have been on this dug a month an a half..
I have headaches, temors, and bleeding during intercourse,
and spotting off and on, less sexual drive and an unreachable
orgaism.. I have had a few terrorable dreams, feel sleepy on and off during the day and have trouble sleeping at night. the only thing I can say good is I don't cry at all.. I have no feelings of sorrow and nothing at all bothers me. I feel like I should go off this drug the side effects are worse than my small problems..

2 days of taking zoloft...on and off jaw and throat stiffness, cold sweat, zap like sounds in head at night, vivid dreams, slight diarrhea, very sensitive eyes, dilated eyes, trouble focusing eyes to read, fogginess, anxious feeling, less emotion, trouble smiling, overall muscle stiffness, headaches, sudden feeling of nausea throughout day
my heart does feel slower though which is the reason it was prescribed.. still have feelings of anxiety which was the other reason
