Singulair Pill Poppers, Nasal Blockage, Inhalant, Sinulair, Meds

WHAT??? My doctor gave me samples of Singulair along with a new steroid inhalant. It worked perfectly.
I'm sorry for all you lifetime pill poppers and professional med takers. My nasal blockage has never been better. No dreams, no side effects - just relief.... If you are taking over 15 meds... maybe its just you???
Berserker81 - Some people are just sensitive to chemicals and need to be very wary when taking a new drug. I just started Singulair and on the first day I had a horrific headache and now I'm having insomnia. I am chemically sensitive, I inherited it from my grandmother. I have just been diagnosed with asthma and reactive airway disease. Anyway... I'm just saying some people are naturally sensitive biologically. It has nothing to do with "Pill Popping" as you so delicately put it . I'm so glad that this drug is working for somebody, I was really hoping it would work for me. Now in a couple of hours I will be calling my doc and seeing what the plan is from here :( Oh well, and oh yeah, I'm not a pill popper I wish I didn't even have to go through this crap. you have a nice day...
Momneedsanswers - I can't believe you! My 4-year-old was just prescribed this, so I began researching. I am certainly glad I did, as if you search for Singulair side effects in children, you will learn a bit about the adverse reactions it has caused in children. In no way do I believe that any of these children, no adults for that matter, are "pill poppers". I think you need to do your own sort of research before pointing fingers. I am glad it worked for you, but no amount of money could tempt me to put my child through any of this hell!
Jhjhjh33 - texasaaa, for your information, it's great that singulair works for you, but that doesn't mean that it's appropriate for you to accuse people of med seeking on a website thats designed for people to be able to post the side effects they are experiencing from a medication. Some people have real medical problems and they need real medications to help them live their life. 100 years ago, I would have lived to the ripe old age of 3 without medical intervention for asthma, and I'm personally thankful that there are people out there who are trying to find a cure, or at least a treatment for the disease. Why don't you use the two braincells God gave you, rub them together, and see if you can produce a worthwhile contribution to society.
6112pat - I didn`t and still don`t take meds not even pain relievers except Now only over the counter asthma meds.I took Singulair for over 10 years and at first I thought it was my miracle drug and it was for a while. Then I realized I wasn`t me I was sick from my meds I was self destructive to me and my family! more to me with the shakes. middle of the night tremors, suicide thoughts so many more side effects such as hair lose etc.......Almost all side effect disappeared within three weeks after getting off singular ,
tremors took much longer for relief
Jjazzy71010 - Hello Texassss first of all you shouldn't have used those words "pill poppers or med takers". I don't like to take medicines. I started with asthma during and after my pregancy this year. I was given advair, proventil and it did help. Last week my dr told me to ty Singulair. After the second night I haven't been able to sleep. Since yesterday I am in the hospital because the meds were not working and last night they gave singulair and once again I haven't been able to sleep. All night long with my eyes wide open. So bottom line I am glad it helped you but for me noooo more. I need my sllep. As like another person wrote on this page I am also to a very sensitive person regarding to medicines. For future comments please don't insult people without knowing their stories. May God bless you and keep you with good health.
Aseret - missy, your comment was completely uncalled for..my 75 year old mother has severe asthma..if not for her meds, she wouldn't be here..the singulair is giving her fits at night..nightmares..even worse leg cramps than she already had..tremors..she's surviving on 1 to 2 hours sleep per night..tomorrow, she has open heart surgery to repair/replace her left valve..with your mouth running, i'm hoping you have a good day..now kiss it where the sun don't shine!
