Sulfamethoxazole Genital Itching, Kinda

I have been on this drug for 6 days now and the only thing I have noticed is severe genital itching. I thought I picked something up off the hospital sheets at first. Not to b vulgure but I am a guy and my sack is on fire and is very red and kinda swollen, Itches like crazy. Luckily that is the only side effect I have.
Patrick1957 - Hi, I wanted to comment on your post. I took only one pill three days ago and among some other side effects, I have the same thing you mentioned. The head of my penis would itch severely and my ball sack was like you said felt like it was on fire.
Its hard not to itch in that area when in public, its really a terrible side effect.

Ses272001 - The first couple times taking the med I had minor itching thought it was some mild irritation of the penis. But the last time taking it for some pimples on my back sent my penis into major itching and burning along the shaft, mostly in the evening. Doctor gave me oral steroids which took care of it.
