I was recently switched over to Sulfameth/Trimethoprim 800/160. I was taking Doxycylin but after almost three months of it, I started to have stomach issues. Heartburn and GI issues.
I'm on Protonix to control the acid production in the stomach and they switched my antibiotic I'm taking medication due to a Staph infection I got after having my hip replaced. I will probably be on meds for a while.
Can the Sulfameth/Trimethoprim 800/160 cause insomnia? I'm having a hard time sleeping.
