Prednisone dosage
I asked this question two years ago and received no responses so I'm assuming this dosage is way off the charts, however I am aking again has anyone ever been prescribed 1000mg oral prednisone, and if so, what were the side effects? -
your going to need to wein off that very carefully. i know that is an overdose amount. i rly hope ur doc is monitoring u daily. weightgain, anger and other unfortunate symptoms may most likely happen as u go off. xoxo

Yes, I would say this dosage is way off the charts. I have been taking Predisone for about 6 months for Alopecia. The dosage I started out with was 40 mg for 5 days, then dropped to 30 mg for 5 days, then 20 mg and then maintaining a dosage of 10 mg. - 48% more...

Try to drink alot of fluids to flush it out of your system. I did that and felt better by the next day. Hope it gets better,I know its hell.
