    Synthroid and leg cramps
    I have been taking synthroid for 15 years. Four months ago my doctor increased my dose from 150 mcg to 175 mcg. Within a month of taking this increased dose I began having terrible leg cramps. Is this a common side effect?

    I am on 200 mcg of Synthroid and while I have tons of energy, my memory recall back, and can concentrate.... I am still having weight issues, and I think I will ask my doctor about Amour Thyroid. I have panic attacks and bad anxiety too. :(

    I think what I need to do is to see an Endocrinologist, they would know more about these types of symptoms and maybe recommend another type of hormone replacement. I think some doctors are too quick to prescribe anti-depressants, maybe the symptoms I - 33% more...
