Wellbutrin XL Iron Levels, Wellbutrin, Nausea, Medication, Motivation

I've been taking Wellbutrin XL 300mg for about a year now. It has definitely helped me return to normal by restoring my energy and motivation. However I have experienced some side effects. While I'm more energetic in the day I'm still always tired in the mornings no matter how much I sleep I get. I'm also mildly anemic but an increase in my iron levels hasn't helped. Anyone else find it difficult to wake up on this medication?
I also notice brief periods of nausea which just recently appeared. I did miss a few weeks of the medication so maybe this is just my brain readjusting.

Pointer - I experienced similar trouble with sleeping. I was extremely tired in the evening and starting to feel sleepy by 6:00 and would go to sleep at 8:30. I would however, wake up at about 4:00 to 4:30. I adjusted the time I took the medication to around 6:30 in the morning and that seemed to eliminate the sleeping trouble and feeling tired in the mornings.

Tallguy506 - You may want to be tested for Hemochromatosis. The symptoms you described are like the ones experienced with this disease. It is a blood disease that makes your body absorb more iron than most people. This could be why increasing your did not help symptoms. If not it couldn't hurt to get tested anyway, it should save you from more complications later on. Hope this helps!
