Sensitivity to Sunlight?

Although I have not seen it mentioned on this site my Doctor told me when prescribing to be careful of to much Sun. I didn't question it, but assumed maybe sunburn was more possible. I have come to find, I believe, that extensive sunlight like a day by the pool or beach leaves me extremely tired.
Now, I'm entering my 50's and my body is pulling all kinds of clever tricks. Is this just an aging issue or has anyone else experienced this? I have been taking 150mg twice a day for about 6 years and the sunshine fatigue has always been a part.
