Uhg, Wellbutrin

i have been taking it for about a week, and my anxiety is worse, and i feel like complete crap. i dont know why this is but i reallly hope it gets better :( someone please help and tell me whether it gets better or not.
Chrissy33660 - I have been on wellbutrin for a few years. I have awful anxiety-to the point where I actually need to stand and put my hands over my head and streach for a breath only to have it happen again in 30 seconds...so I understand how uncomfortable you are. I can say this-wellbutrin -for me- was prescribed for depression. Other meds were used for anxiety. I wouldn't say that wellbutrin helped me with my anxiety directly. Rather in combination with another drug and the fact that when I am not depressed the anxiety lightens up. Are you taking anything else? Are you bipolar or ? I ask because wellbutrin can increase mania if you are bipolar which can lead to more frequent panic attacks. So, I guess it depends on your diagnosis also.
