Avelox I.V. Avelox, Heart Palpitations, Tays, Urinary Tract Infection, Anxiety

I took Avelox a couple of months ago to treat a urinary tract infection which i thought was kind of strange. About two tays later i started getting severe heart palpitations. It felt as if my heart was going to explode from beating so fast. I almost went to the hospital but stopped myself when i thought it could just be anxiety. I called the doctor after 3 days of taking it and he said that my symptoms could be side effects of Avelox but were rare. Ill tell you one thing i will NEVER take Avelox again and i dont recommend that anyone take it unless absolutely necessary.

Disablednurse - PLEASE NOTIFY THE FDA AND MAKE A COMPLAINT. YOU CAN EMAIL THEM AT FDAMEDWATCH.ORG. LIST ALL SYMPTOMS ESPECIALLY THE TACHYCARDIA(FAST HEART RATE) AND PANIC. ALSO NOTIFY BAYER PHARMACEUTICALS AND MAKE A COMPLAINT. THEY WILL RECORD WHAT YOU TELL THEM AND WILL MAIL YOU A REPORT. THANK GOD YOU SURVIVED WITHOUT PERMANENT INJURY! THIS TOXIC DRUG WILL NOT BE RECALLED UNLESS VICTIMS COME TOGETHER. ANOTHER THING, YOUR DOC KNEW VERY WELL THAT THIS DRUG DOES CAUSE SERIOUS EVENTS THAT ARE NOT RARE AT ALL. SOUNDS LIKE HE MAY BE GETTING "KICKBACKS" FROM DRUG COMPANY TO PRESCRIBE IT!! YOU SHOULD HAVE GONE TO THE ER TO AT LEAST HAVE AN ASSESSMENT AND AN EKG DONE TO BE SURE AVELOX HADN,T CAUSED A SERIOUS CARDIAC CONDITION! STAY AWAY FROM ALL QUINOLONES,SUCH AS AVELOX,CIPRO,LEVAQUIN. THEY ARE TOXIC!!
