Wow I am so angry I have put up with these side effects for so long not putting 2 and 2 together! I have had severe headaches; sharp chest pains; exhaustion; restlessness at bedtime; cramping beyond belief all over my stomach; laziness; weight gain; breast tenderness; and unfortunately the list goes on and on! I have been on this pill for 10 years and seemed to have gotten use to most of the side effects... Now with the cramping and chest pain becoming progressively worse, I will finally be getting off this pill. I am afraid of how my body will cope on it's own because the initial reasoning for me taking the pill in the first place was because I only had my period once every 6 months which then included a semi-annual trip to the hospital for the severe stomach cramps! Now 24 and married my husband and I will do our best with the natural family planning method and I will NEVER again take a BC pill again! I only hope that these chest pains go away after I stop taking avaine and that long term damage us not the sad result! :(
