Extra Strength Tyenol and Biaxin Xl

Is it safe to take both, I have an infection in my gum which made my cheek swell, I take 2 Biaxin xl every day, this is my 2nd day. The pain is really bad and I would like to take extra strength Tylenol to help with the pain.
