Cheratussin AC Cough Medicine, Sinus Infection, Taking a Nap, Sick to My Stomach, Mucus

I have bronchitis, a sinus infection, and have been sick to my stomach, I was prescribed cheratussin ac for the cough and to loosen all the mucus. I took only one teaspoon yesterday because I really hate liquid medicine, especially cough medicine :( I then tried taking a nap because I was so drowsy from being sick all day. It was weird because I never really got to sleep but the next time I looked at the clock it was almost 5 hours later in the day. I'm still not sure if I really fell asleep or not but I just took 2 teaspoons today and we will see how this goes....Wish me luck :)
