Cortisone Acetate Gonna Puke, Excruciating Pain, Bursitis, Cortisone, Rest of the Night

Had cortisone shot in my hip the other day for bursitis. Also had lidocaine in the shot, so didn't feel any pain for the rest of the night. The next morning, I woke up in excruciating pain at the injection sight. The nurse told me i would feel worse before i felt better. That was an understatement! I was so nauseous & started with diarrhea. I also had a headache that wouldn't go away. I thought the nausea was from the prescription ibuprofen the doctor had prescribed for me. I stopped taking it and went back to my otc ibuprofen. The sick feeling in my stomach never went away. I feel terrible. When will this stop? I called the doctor and told him of my symptoms, he said he never heard of this reaction to the shot. How can he say that??? Everyone on this board has these reactions. What's up with this??
I feel so sick! Never again! I'll stay with the ' pain. I'm supposed to go back to work tomorrow, but how can i when i feel like i'm gonna puke??
