Side Effects?

i have had systemic candiasis (yeast infection) for years and was finally diagnosed about 8 or 9 months ago. first the doctor gave me nystatin which worked great with no side effects besides a mild die-off reaction. after months, my condition leveled out and even worsened a little. the doctor did blood tests and confirmed that the candida yeast level in my blood was going up a little bit, indicating that the nystatin had done all it could and that some of the yeast were resistant. so he prescribed me diflucan. i will admit that i took two months to fill the prescription, as i was feeling fine and it was so expensive! but finally i felt sick again and i got the diflucan and started taking it. i was prescribed 200mg per day for 30 days. i took it 6 times and i feel awful.. it has now been maybe 4 days since i have taken any and i just feel wretched. i'm sleeping poorly, every day i wake up exhausted, i am emotionally on edge: crying all the time and being really depressed. everything seems like a big deal to me, its overwhelming. i also have total loss of appetite in the mornings, and nausea all morning until i leave the house and get out in the world. sometimes my breathing gets weird and my heart races and i panic. this is all really scary. nystatin really helped with the yeast problem, but in the case of diflucan i fear that the cure is far worse than the sickness was.
i only hope that one of these days i will feel normal again.
