I have been taking Femcon FE for almost two years and have had no problems with it. I'm on it mainly to regulate my periods since I naturally had a heavy period that lasted seven days and had very bad cramps. I cannot compare it to other birth control pills since it is the only birth control pill I have ever been on.
I can't comment on the actual birth control aspect of it since I don't have unprotected sex.
I know every person is different, but I believe that the main reason people have complications with prescription medications is because of their health status or a mixture with other medications. I'm 23-years-old, my health is very good overall. I do not smoke or do other drugs. I do drink alcohol moderately on weekends. I exercise regularly. I am on no other medications. I hope this information helps you out.
