Gabapentin Weird Dreams, Neuropathy, Medicine, Body Move, Gabapentin
Posted over a year ago
I have been taking gabapentin for a couple of years now for neuropathy and I have the most stupid dreams that just don't make sense, and some feel like it really happened. Does anybody else have weird dreams while on this medicine? I feel like I'm the only one.
Smcclements - The same thing is happening to me. The dreams are so vivid and sometimes scary and I have difficulty waking up. When I do wake up, I'm so "out of it". I can't seem to make my body move correctly and it takes a while to work through this. I thought it was just me. I was prescribed Gabapentin for fibromyalgia.
Ukravit - I took Gabapentin for a few months. every dream was a nightmare. and I stayed in a dream like state when awake. severe loss of short term memory and could seldom think clearly.
Nnzunclj - I have been on Gabapentin for two and a half months. Now I am experiencing terrible vivid dreams and loss of short term memory. Every dream is a nightmare and seems real. I can't think clearly either. In the day I feel like I have the flu. I am going to talk to my doctor. The dosage is only 100 mg three times a day but It is no longer doing much for my nerve pain. I am tired of feeling so out of it. I am also on half of a 25 mg pill of Trazodone for sleep. I take that at night when I need it. Maybe both drugs together are doing this. I don't like it because I am not myself. I feel altered.
