My daughter is 15 5ft 7 inch weight about 130lbs and very athletic. She recieved her first Gardasil shot in Aug. 2009 along with school vaccinations. Within 2 weeks we had taken her to the emergency room twice for severe abdominal pain. We left the emergency room with papers that spoke about unknown abdominal pain and how to cope with it. She endured 2 weeks of medical testing, but all tests came back normal. In October 2009 she received her second Gardasil shot and now my daughter has pain everyday. The pain started in her stomach and has now moved to the middle of her back. In the meantime, my once very athletic daughter is missing out on playing sports with her team. I called our family doctor to tell him of my suspicions on gardasil being the problem, but he would not listen as he does not have a lot of teenagers as patients, and he stated that only a few have been given the shot. She now sees a gastrologists - enduring more tests and outpatient procedures, still no diagnoses. How can I help my daughter??? How can I relieve her pain and get her back to playing sports? Can anyone give me direction?? We live in Central IL, and I feel no one here knows anything. Thanks
