Gardasil Stomach Pains, Doctor Appt, Menstrual Cycle, Two Shots, Periods

My daughter is 14 and has received two shots so far. The second shot was received fall of 09. Since around that time, her periods occur every two weeks instead of every 4 weeks. She complains of stomach pains as well. I haven't read this as a side ... more »
My daughter is 14 and has received two shots so far. The second shot was received fall of 09. Since around that time, her periods occur every two weeks instead of every 4 weeks. She complains of stomach pains as well. I haven't read this as a side effect yet. Has anyone seen a change occur in their daughter's menstrual cycle? She has doctor appt tomorrow but I will not allow them to give her the third shot.

Mom123 - Menstrual abnormalties are a HUGE side affect of the Gardadsil vaccination. There is something about it and it messes with the hormones. Tons of the girls have suffered with stomach aches. That is how my daughter's problems started was with stomach problems, constipation, yeast infections, bladder infections, headaches, body aches, fatigue, etc. It is three years later and we are STILL trying to get her body straightened out. SHe currently gets her period every two weeks although her chiropractor doubts that she is even ovulating. Then she will go a month and it will be 28 days but then messed up the next. Exhibiting signs of menopause and praying that this did not push her body into that. You are wise not to get the third shot.
Chinadoll - My daughter had the Gardasil shot at 16. After she received the first two series of the vaccine she also started to suffer with menstrual cramps and having her periods every two weeks. AT the age of 19 I put her on the pill to regulate her period. She still suffers from heavy menstrual cramps and she became anemic. She also suffers from body aches and is always fatigue. I I didn't realize that the vaccine had cause her this problem. Now she's suffering from loss of hair. Has any one had this problem?
Basmama - My daughter who is 13 had her first ( and it will be her only) Gardasil shot on October 8th, 2010. it is now Mid december 2010 she has had 3 periods in 1 and half months and tonight is complaining of severe premenstrual cramps. This is one of many symptoms she has been hit with since receiving the shot. Symptoms including stomach pains, nausea, loss of appetite, loss of concentration/focus, body aches, cracking/popping joints, extreme fatigue, restless sleep despite sleeping 13 -15 hrs, insomnia, light and sound sensitivity, achy chest, acid reflux, now panic attacks and now, not surprisingly depression and anxiety. I must say I'm feeling pretty down, guilty and anxious myself after witnessing her horrible plight and having no useful support from the medical community. I find it so painful to know that there are all these young women going through this, and we can't get to the bottom of it.
Denise005 - My 11 year old daughter had her first Gardasil shot in April and her periods started to be irregular. She was on her peroid for 15 straight days. The doctor put her on the pill to stop it. It stopped within in three days and started back in two days. You all have shed a lot of light on this situation. She will not be getting her second shot, or any more.
Chinadoll - Chinadoll -- This is in response to Denise005- My daughter just turned 21 and is still suffering from the Gardasil shot(s). She's had to changed PCP's because they do not believe that her suffering is due to the shots. They look at the side affect form(s) from the maker of the Gardasil and none of the symptoms what our girls have are not listed. Although, I did find one doctor who I will not name refuses to administer these shots to her clients. She asks them to do research before she administers this vaccination " Gardasil shot".
Also, this shot is now being issued to males. My son went for his annual physical and his PCP was insistent in administering the Gardasil shot. I refused profoundly.
Because of all this I have contacted my friends and family about what has happened to my daughter and I asked them to do their own research before they decide to have their children vaccinated with t Gardasil.
Parents please check your daughters side affect of hairloss/thining. This has made my daughter loss her self confidence.
