About 5 months ago I received my first dose of Gardasil. I felt fine after receiving the shot except for some unusual tiredness which I attributed to the high heat in the Northeast. Exactly one month after my shot I experienced intense muscle aches in my upper arm which later that evening spread to the rest of my body. For the next month I experienced random pains all over my body. At some points I seemed to have gotten better, but then two months later I began feeling this unusual dizzy feeling, like my head was being pulled toward the ground. This condition seemed very similar to what people diagnose as vertigo. I also developed some tingling in my arms and hands not accompanied by numbness. These symptoms all seemed to go away in late september only for a new symptom to begin. In early October, I started getting random stabbing pains in the back of my head. I finally went to see my doctor who referred me to a doctor who diagnosed me with occipital neuralgia.
Of course, none of my doctors want to admit that these things have anything to do with Gardasil. I thank everyone for posting their stories and I hope that the girls suffering recover completely.
