Hydrocodone
Posted over a year ago
Can you actually get addicted to these? I have to take them to ease my back pain and they really change my attitude is this possible?
Holleywouldduit - YES, your doctor should have warned you same as the pharmacist when you were given first prescription. The 10mg/part = an opiate -type of drug(can become habit forming) and the number of 325, 500 or 750 that follows the forward/slash that is the amount of mg of acetaminophen thats also in the tablet. 10 mg is the highest amt you can ever get in each of three doses. depending your body weight, lifestyle drinking habits and pain levels is how your doctor decides how much acetaminophen will be prescribed with the hydrocodone which is the generic name for: VICODIN, LORTAB, OR NORCO.
I currently take 1 or 2 - 10/500 apap LORTAB AKA HYDROCODONE/
ACETAMINOPHEN every 4 hours with a maximum allowed of 8 tablets a day!
if you or anyone else has anymore questions about side effects or whatever, please feel free to email me at: hollywouldduit@sbcglobal.net and i will share what i can and what i know besides what certain websites will tell you. I've been prescribed these more than four years straight now and can give you many hints and tips to make good choices for the rest of your healthcare daily habits if you have been prescribed this medicine that your doctor may forget to tell you like mine did so you can avoid other unconfortable side=effects that could slip your doctor's mind because of your diet and young age - LIKE MINE DID!!!
