Januvia Glucotrol, Hyzaar, Wedderburn, Diarrhoea, Type 2 Diabetic

I was taking Hyzaar , Metformin 500mg. B.D. and Glucotrol XL 10mg. B.D. and added Januvia 100mg. O.D. on Jan.14/10. I have been a Type 2 Diabetic for about 11yrs. I am 60yr. I almost fell in the afternoon, on 14/Jan/10, before I started Januvia, which I started later that afternoon. After sitting up to sleep for several nights, due to pain in my hips & ribs, with lower B.G.'s , I developed an Abscess on my Buttock on 21/1/10, for the first time in my life!
After six weeks, headaches and upper abdominal pain, after eating, started. By March 3, Loose Stools and Diarrhea started. I stopped taking Januvia on March 7 ! I went to E.R. with Abdo. Pain on March 9th and found out that some of my Liver Enzymes, PT and ESR were elevated. B.G. 241. 10days off Januvia LFT's & ESR decreased, with only 2 still above normal! B.G. 341, I was only taking Glucotrol.
Admitted to Hospital 19 - 25/3 with B.G 448, Loose Stools/diarrhea for Hydration, Insulin and Investigations.! So far Blood Tests and 3 Stool specs. are neg. Loose Stools/Diarrhea continue, with Peristalsis taking place as soon as I eat or drink. Worst day 16 stools! Today, 29/3/10 - B.M. X 6, so far. Taking Codeine to help O.D. or B.D. How long can this Diarrhea last? This is Day 27. One day in hospital they tried Cod. 30mg. X 3 tabs. in 20hrs. which stopped Diarrhea for 27hrs, but I felt quite sick with headaches and upper abdo. pain. I am a R.N. & Midwife. e-mail ******
