Cephalexin for Skin Rash/infection. Dizziness, Nausea, Vomiting
i got a skin rash by my forehead (above my eye and to the side by the temple). my skin got scraped from a car accident, its almost done healing, but it got a little rash and infection from the sweat and the heat and me scratching it. the doctor didn't want the risk of that rash/infection spreading to my eye, so she gave me keflex to take every 6 hours for 7 days. i didn't think it was necessary, but i guess it can't hurt either. or can it?
on the 2nd or 3rd day i started feeling lightheaded, then dizzy whenever i would sit up. on the 4th day i had nausea, my stomach started feeling hot, my body temperature went up, and i ended up vomiting.
i'm not finishing the prescription. i don't wanna have to go through that. the label says : "remember your doctor has prescribed this medication because he or she has judged that the benefit to you is greater than the risk of side effects. many people using this medication do not have serious side effects." ... more »

i don't know about that. is it worth it? are there more efficient antibiotics than this one? is this one of those drugs that the pharmaceutical companies KNOW they're CRAP, but like to keep that information aside?
